When trying to set up cross save, I got several 500 internal errors. Now it has apparently linked my Battle.net account. I can choose to unlink it, I leave the page that I'm on and go to an overview page of my account. There's an unlink option for Battle.net which cannot be selected. My PSN account is also in the overview and that's the one I'm trying to set up cross save for with Steam. The unlink button is clickable for PSN.
When trying to set up cross save, it keeps referring to my Battle.net account followed by a 500 error.

4 RepliesEdited by ADragonWithin: 8/22/2019 11:41:51 AMThe first issue you're having is that with a Battle.net account attached to your Bungie.net profile, you MUST link a Steam account as well to prepare for the migration in October in which your Blizzard Destiny 2 account data will be moved to Steam (Destiny 2 is leaving Blizzard entirely and going to Steam). So to deal with the first issue, please create a Steam account, then go here: https://www.bungie.net/PCMove . On that page, click the large button, and link them together. This will fix your first issue. Please note that the migration and the cross-save are two different things, setting up and preparing for the migration will not force you into using a specific account for the cross-save. After preparing for the migration, you can then go through the cross-save process to choose which of your accounts you want to enable for your main cross-save data. Alternatively to the above and concerning your second issue, in order to unlink your Battle.net ID, you have to log out of Bungie.net and then log in using your PSN ID. You cannot unlink the account you're currently logged in with, and the reason your Battle.net ID cannot be unlinked is because you're currently logged in with it on Bungie.net. Please keep in mind that if you wish to use cross-save with your Blizzard Battle.net ID, you must link a Steam account and prepare for the migration. This is a requirement for having a Battle.net ID attached to your account; Bungie is trying to help you make sure that you don't lose your Destiny 2 licenses and save data from Blizzard when the move from Blizzard to Steam happens.

2 RepliesYou can’t unlink the account t you used to login on the Bungie.net site. If you want to unlink your Battle.net account then logout out and then log in using your PSN credentials. Once logged in using your PSN credentials you should be able to unlink your BNet account.
