The Citadel is the worst PvP map
This map sucks. Everything about it dogshit. It’s worse than sector 618 in D1 and that’s hard to beat
Edit: Ok convergence might tie with Citadel

1 ReplyYou're telling me there's a worse map than gambler's ruin? You know, the map where you spawn at the start of the game, walk forward a meter, and there are already enemies on your radar. Load of bull to me.

Why is a lot of the crap maps are ones where there is a lot of area behind the main spawn points. On the citadel I once loss my bearings and was lost roaming around the large empty expanse trying to get back into the middle of the map. Equinox’s has these areas that you seldom engage in unless the enemy spawn traps you. Maps might be bigger but playable area is not big as D1 maps if you understand where I’m coming from.

2 RepliesNah, worst map in the game is Gambler's Ruin. It's the only map in the game where I can get killed by every roaming supers 3-4 times in a row and get spawn switched so fast I've been stuck in the dead screen for almost half a minute because the game "can't find valid spawn point".

1 ReplyYeah I hate the Citadel and Firebase Echo. They said they're removing maps with low performance or something, but these ones seem to be favoured in the rotation so I doubt they'll get removed. Everyone always hates on Equinox as well, but I love it cause its one of the few maps that caters to Scout Rifles. Equinox is a nice change of pace from the tired Hand Cannon/Shotgun maps that have dominated Destiny.

Generally, maps with long range sight lines are typically hated the most in this game. Shame too, they’ll get removed, and there will be virtually no reason to run a scout or sniper after (even after scouts get buffed).

1 ReplyI loved sector 618! Dominated in this map with my favorite hand cannons (lord high fixer, devil you know, eyesluna, first curse and uffern hc4). Nice to have a good variety of small, medium and large maps
