It has been two years since I quit D2. I was an avid player of Destiny and have around 3k hours in total, with 2500 coming from the original game. Recently, I have heard that the game has improved and has fixed many issues. Is it worth returning to D2 at its current state?

Definitely wait. There is no reason in hell to put yourself through what will most likely happen in the next 6 weeks. The cross save today is a disaster and there is some issue for those that bought silver that they cannot unlink accounts or something for about 90 days. Wait until this game is free then check it out.

1 ReplyWait until october when the game goes free to play THEN make your decision. Dont waste money right now as the current state of the game is garbage and i honestly wish i could get a refund. Just wait until the game goes free to play then play for a while and see what you think then you can worry about paying bungie money every 3 months for each season since theres going to be no annual pass and content will be removed/locked at the end of each season.

But from Shadowkeep up out, Bungie is going to start removing Content we pay at the end of every Season. Theft basically what it is. So after Shadowkeep, I’m bowing out of this franchise.

2 RepliesBefore anyone can give you advice on whether you should come back or not, may I ask why you quite in the first place? The reasons that led you to quit Destiny may or may not have been fixed.

In my opinion, absolutely. It is so much better than at launch that it's not even comparable; and it's only getting better with Shadowkeep. Ignore the whiners on these forums and judge the game for yourself.

3 RepliesAbsolutely, the game is in the best condition that it has been in for a long time. especially if you haven't played for a long time. There's tons to do and many exotic quests to chase. Gambit is a fun game mode (if you play with the right people.) People like to cry about the state of the game a lot and like to find reasons to complain but tbh it's in a good place rn and i have a really good feeling about shadowkeep.

4 RepliesEdited by Poop: 8/21/2019 3:10:56 PMOff topic, I would like to confess something. As soon as I read
It has been two years since I quit D2
I went to check your game history to ensure you weren't lying (you are not). What did I gain from this? absolutely nothing! Then why did I even bother to check? Due to my toxic nature, an attempt to stay relevant among fellow toxic guardians. I apologise 🙏 These forums are mostly vulgar filled with pretentious elitist. However, there are a few informative posts now and then. Now to answer your question, yes you should definitely give D2 another go. The game has evolved in the right direction since you last played 👍

If you avoid the forums and form your own educated views, yes.
