That's the question. Just cause looks like bungie is kidding every player with some algorithms that make this "competitive" BS. Sorry, but are you messing us? After we played overwatch and apex looks weird that destiny is affected by results compensation. Are you still in the 80's with arcade games? Just don't call this blam competitive....cause it isn't.
Am I the only noticing that?

5 RepliesI've posted about this before and this forum wanted to burn me at the stake. I agree with you. Bungie is up to sneaky nonsense such as this.

3 RepliesI know it’s there, I can get stomped by noobs one match then stomp some unbroken players next match. Its a mess and really doesn’t show skill at all
-
3 RepliesOr my favorite: You're winning and close to the mercy rule and all of a sudden, the other team suddenly surges WAY far ahead of you and their gameplay style doesn't change. Like my team is dropping left and right getting hammered. Like they go from Keystone Cops to Seal Team 6.

It’s working as intended. 50/50 win loss. If you winning to much, the game would put you into a late game on the losing side so your kd also gets a smashing from all the supers and power ammo. All to force a loss.
-
because bungie thinks they need to dictate win loss ratios.

Everytime I get on a streak I get loaded into a match where I get pup stomped. It’s ridiculous. And comp is the worst. I’m 1100ish glory and go in against people who have Not Forgotten?????

1 ReplyI notice this often. They also give you crap players that end up practically throwing the match. Another thing I noticed? Fireteams seem to have better Peer to Peer connection. I can't tell you how many times I've been sniped through a wall, weapons register no damage or I get "two tapped" by a handcannon. I honestly believe that Bungie has something in place that allows better connection whenever you go into PvP with a fireteam.

Very apparent in gambit too.

Maybe play an objective? A lot of the top and bottom % don’t do that.

22 RepliesI used to frequent the forums in D1 and there were a lot of complaints that the game was too influenced by the pvp side. Now it's the opposite, catering to the snowflakes has made this game a trash pve grindy time-sink and left competitive players frustrated with scraps.

Every time I hear something like I wonder how paranoid you have to be to think that something changes as to why you are no longer winning. I wish my braid could create these magical scenarios where it’s not my fault I loss but some evil work by Bungie in the background
-
Never experienced this. Honestly, all my matches are either complete stomps, or close right up until the end.

Once I reach 20 kills in a match it does feel harder to get more but can't say I've noticed it tat much.
