Right now guardians only use armor with the highest light level. Always see people mixed and matched. What if after a full set of legendary armor. You get a special power or bonus. Has to be full set from helmet to boots no exotics for it to work. For example full edz armor set allows any guardian to crouch and turn invisble for 3 seconds. Doesnt matter the class. Another example would be full curse of osiris armor would allow any guardian when using their melee special set the target on fire with solar damage a few seconds. Having a full set that comes with a bonus would encourage guardians to try and collect armor sets. You can add Op perks or exotic like perks like going invisible so a full set feels like an exotic. Now all full armor legendary perks are disabled in pvp and just purely cosmetic. This would allow awesome armor perks to be created to be used when playing in raids or strikes and not be op in pvp. Doing this would allow another layer of loot players would be able to chase.

Special abilities like that might be too powerful. Set bonuses should be more passive and still promote exotic use. Maybe bonus xp/materials/tokens/better chance at rare rewards with a full set or 4+ exotic? Full raid set: More xp, damage boost or damage resistance, special armor glow or emblem, and a higher chance at pinnacle weapons or raid exotic Strike set: above bonuses and grants small chance to get any nightfall exclusive loot in strike playlist Crucible set: above bonuses minus damage changes and better chance for catalysts or faster completion for pinnacle requirements
