The streamers have complained supers are to powerful and came back way to fast so bungie as always agrees with the streamers and are nerfing how much super energy is given from orbs and slowing down super recharge time as well. Thanks Streamers !!!!!!!!

Armor 2.0 will give us a lot of control over when we get our supers back. But some supers are just broken down n pvp. Bottom tree striker is just ridiculous. They are practically unkillable and the super can go on forever if you can spawn trap a team. One guy did this to my team in a QP match. I died to him twice. Before I finally managed to shut him down and get a “The Crown is Mine” medal (he was on a 25+ kill streak when I finally put him down). I got sick of it being used on me, then I went on my own 7-8 kill streak with my super a few games later. If this is going to stay in the game it needs to be tuned differently for pvp.

1 ReplyToday a striker titan in pvp had 17 super kills. Is that right? 17?!! Inb4 you all of you complain you shouldn't exploit this super and nothing would be nerfed. OEM, Coil, NF/Luna and bottom striker. Yeap. Fun times.
-
Supers are only too common in PvP. Just make it so that all orbs generated in PvP are small orbs.
Although if they wanted to change super regen exotics into super augment exotics, I would not be opposed to the idea.
Idk the last time I played pvp supers and heavy were too much. Regular quick play feels like d1 mayhem. If you like mayhem that's fine and it's understandable that supers and heavy should come in constantly. I'm for nerfing the damage resistance so we can actually challenge supers again. I remember taking down a team of supers in d1, not all at once. I used my trusty 1k stare before nerf.
-
Sorry, but supers actually became fun, so Bungle is obligated by company policy to nerf them. It is, after all, about balance, not enjoyment.
-
They’ve said they were going back to where they were with Forsaken. I’m hoping that with armor 2.0 and my master worked bad juju, that I’m getting my Chaos Reach as often or close to as I do now. I’m in a great clan with some great players but I like doing some things solo.
-
I don’t think they’ll put it back at THAT recharge rate. We also have intellect mods we’ll be able to use and there’s always Bad Juju
-
Let’s not forget there’s this little mechanism called enrage. You have at best 4 damages phases before getting wiped regardless. There’s quite a few wipe moves, but that one is guaranteed. Then the crowd be like “Well (heh), it shouldn’t take you that long”. So then what’s the problem? 1 (more often 2) phase is too quick, but 4 is too long? Do ya really want a Riven style fight, that more people would rather do “efficiently”? Baffles the mind, greatly

7 RepliesIm just a little confused. Like in pvp supers are an issue if you play it alot youll see it. But then bungie said they regen in pve too fast. What content is that? All raids have banners and all bosses die in one phase. People dont use super until the end of strikes. Meneg has banners. So what does that leave? Are supers an issue for public events or patrols? I really wish theyd give more details and not be vague

42 RepliesEdited by $hirtless Captain Kirk: 8/20/2019 3:52:36 AMAll this crap because Datto can't teamshot and thinks that Well of Radiance is overpowered. I feel like he thinks this helps his pathetic chance a world's first Let's not forget at the first sign of trouble in a world's first attempt, Datto plays the blame game as to why they FD up. Same thing here. The guy blames anything but his own actual deficiencies. I played the guy in Crucible in D1 I don't mean any disrespect but he's f****** trash. He has no place speaking on PVP at all. This is so not someone worth listening to at all.

Edited by Mr Based: 8/21/2019 5:54:20 PMIdk why streamers want supers recharge rate to be nerfed its pretty much perfect in pve but in pvp the amount of orbs generated in pvp should be reduced instead of nerfing the percent that it gives.

16 RepliesEdited by PX1914: 8/20/2019 6:34:27 PMStreamers or better said content creators aren’t the problem, Bungle over-indexing their opinions and interactions with the game is. Until Bungie feels like sharing whether or not they think a content creator’s interaction with content truly represents the norm, then they’re hanging them out to dry. Also, content creators need to ask themselves if their unwillingness to switch up from the most optimum of loadout on their 100th clear, should mandate that someone going for their first, have a harder time.

Edited by WulfPak666: 8/21/2019 2:02:08 PMI thought the point of this game was to grind gear and maximize our stats and builds so that we could essentially "melt bosses" and keep our abilities going as much as physically possible? I mean that's what ya do in an mmo type game, right?
-
1 ReplyHonestly I don’t blame the streamers, I blame Bungie’s bland uninspired boss design: Giant enemies in circular environments with minimal cover... Kill ad wave, Dump as much DPS into giant boss, rinse / repeat.. Add to that the fact that many of us are running strikes / raids because we HAVE to not because we WANT to and it leads to us wanting to burn the boss ASAP and move on to the next one to get it over with. Last thing anyone working on a weekly powerful or a quest requirement to generate 1.5 million orbs or get 3.4 billion multikills in “playlist: Strikes” wants to do is spend 15 minutes dumping Primary into D2’s version of Rockets McDickface
-
I think the rate at which they come is fine. Even with 5 super mods. The main issue is supers are just to tanky. If they were less tanky I would consider using other mods instead of only super mods
-
1 ReplyWell Bungie do say they won't nerf to D2 Day 1 levels, but we all know Bungie swing from left to right, middle ground seems some what impossible for them. So yeah I'm concerned we will arrive back at the day 1 bag of nails......
-
2 RepliesEdited by GrandStyles: 8/21/2019 7:18:13 PMThey’re not really touching recharge rate. They’re touching orb/kill effectiveness and super armor, both objectively good changes.
-
I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a 4 min deal and armour perks can shorten it although I agree it’s just ridiculous I can understand pvp needing the change but pve is about fun so I personally could give a crap and with all the stupid ai abilities spamming u left right and centre it felt good to super them in the FACE more
-
I'm no streamer. Supers, roaming supers in particular, ARE op and far too prevalent.
-
Idk about the streamers but all I’ve seen on the forums these last couple months is kids like you crying that you die too many times to supers in crucible. Now they are reducing how much super you get per guardian kill and orbs and you’re still complaining? They need to just close these forums as it’s only serves as a grounds for trolls like you.
-
I think they will probably end up like d1 recharge rates. 4:00 default and 3:00-3:30 with max intellect. And no other buffs
-
Eh, non issue to me. They already said it will be between day 1’s super slow recharge and today’s rather fast recharge. I’m okay with a bit more reliance on MW’d weapons and consistent orb generation. There’s a happy medium, I’m sure they’ll find it.
-
8 Repliesi don't want super recharge to drop in pve either. D2 strikes were painful with only primary weapons and slow supers and slow grenades. But please stop blaming streamers. It sounds unbelievably out of touch.
-
15 RepliesSo the Hundreds of posts complaining about supers here and on reddit. Those are all streamers?
-
It will I guarantee it

3 RepliesSometimes whenever I feel down I go on here and read some of the dumb shit ya'll post. Like this, this is grade A.
