Account ban

I had my account banned for network connectivity issues. I have only one issue with this ruling, I am running on 3MB/sec top download speed and that is the highest speed offered in my area. I have been playing the Destiny franchise since the beta of Destiny and this is the first time I have been banned for this issue. I have faced people DDOSing meself and my teams several times over the years and I continually see them the next day or next match and they have not been banned. The reason I know it is a DDOS attack as all the members of my fireteam are disconnected one by one. I am now currently unable to complete my Solstice Armor on my secondary characters as I can't play Gambit or Crucible. I would seriously like to know what I was banned now and not before as my internet speed has actually increased over the last few years from 1MB/sec.

Restrictions are placed manually on accounts that are deemed to be repeatedly ruining game experiences for others in PVP, or gambit. Restrictions will not be overturned until their duration has passed. Use this time to stabilise and improve your network connection so that you stop harming games for other players. The first restriction will last two weeks. If you do not fix your connection, the next will be two months. If you still persist in ruining the game for others, you will be permanently banned from PVP in Destiny 2. Please be considerate of others and work on fixing your connection, to avoid further repercussions. Denial Of Service attacks knock out a network for an extended amount of time. It would not allow you to get an error code and continue to play the game, as your network would be down and you’d have no internet connection. DOS attacks are also highly illegal, and it’s unlikely you actually received one. If you have recorded proof of what happened you can use Bungie’s report tool (Cheating Submission Form) to report the team in question - but please think carefully and be certain you did indeed receive a DOS attack first, to prevent wasting your time and the time of the report handlers, as well as false reporting other players.
