Edit: people don’t seem to understand that these are Luke Smith’s words, not mine. I’m not wildly speculating here... he flat out says that they neglected pvp on purpose because it’s going free to play. If you hate pvp then just think about everything in pve that’s been neglected. Think critically about the bigger picture and Bungie’s attitude. Don’t just read “pvp” and crap your pants.
We now know why crucible was left to die... Bungie purposely neglected it because it wasn’t going to be part of the Shadowkeep package that they could sell to people. It’s free to play in October.
This sucks.
I know that this is a business decision and money is important, blah blah blah, BUT - this was a giant “F U” to the players who bought your game.
Pvp wasn’t free for us and we deserve better.
This, coupled with the Eververse power creep (which needs a nerf far more than our guardians), really shows me what your priorities are, and it sucks.

Sandbox updates happen rarely, bug fixes are slow and PvP is left to rot the only time the first 2 seem to happen is right before a content update that Bungie has sold or the bug has caused an exploit, Luke Smith made it clear if Bungie is not charging us for something or it does not drive up sales in the cashshop (events) then they have zero motivation to work on the game.
