Account overrides. 11 years of bungie.net account gone.

I attempted to join my XBL and PSN accounts into one, and my newer PSN account overrode my XBL one and now all of my redeemed emblems are gone. I had just taken a photo to show my friend on XBL a picture of my collection yesterday, and now they're all gone. Including the Controlled Chaos emblem I had just redeemed. Someone please help me with trying to recover my old account. I had my original bungie.net account for over 11 years, and now I can't access it. • Hey there, Moving this over to the #Help forum so more people can see this and assist. For me, it looks like you've unlinked the authentication method (Xbox Live Login) from your old Account, and linked it to your newer Account, thus orphaning your old Account and leaving it without an authentication (login) method. There is a way to reverse this, detailed in this Help Article under Bungie.net Profile Recovery: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12130 I will now quote the Article:
Bungie.net Profile Recovery If a player has lost access to a Bungie.net profile by removing all associated authentication methods, they may proceed through the following steps to reclaim their account: 1. Identify the authentication method used to create the Bungie.net profile that was closed or lost 2. Ensure the authentication method has been unlinked from any active Bungie.net profiles 3. Click "Create a new account" and use the account credentials that were originally linked to the desired account 4. Select "Recover" next to the desired Bungie.net profile and complete the account reclamation process, which may be identified by profile membership ID's or Bungie.net join dates Please Note: For a Bungie.net profile to be recovered, it cannot be linked to any active authentication methods. If linked, it will not be presented to the player during the account recovery flow. Players will have up to 90 days to recover lost or closed Bungie.net profiles. After 90 days, this process will be unavailable.
Please follow these steps and you should be able to link your XBL account to your old Bungie.net once again, enabling access to it and the associated emblems. If you require any further assistance, feel free to reach out.
