So, if whisper ornaments paid for zero hour, what exactly was the "free for everyone" quest this season?
Lumina requires forsaken/annual pass
Truth requires menagerie/forsaken
Bad juju requires season of Opulence. ....
So that leaves Outbreak..... which according to Luke Smith, only exists because of eververse...... Oh and needs you to be 690.....
So not free for everyone.....
So what was this season's exotic quest for everyone?

4 RepliesTo anyone with any basic grasp of comprehension, the idea is simple. Total money spent on that particular ornament = x amount. Estimated cost to develop that content = same amount. It's an example of how microtransactions can fund ongoing development.

Bungie get plenty of money through selling season passes, I'm more concerned that no development process we have had yet is "sustainable" it was the excuse we got in year 1 and now year 2's.

60 RepliesDid you even read the actual post? He said it was able to be expanded and made longer thanks to the increased funds gained from the ornament. He didn’t say it was completely because of the Eververse purchases.

Even last season there wasn't as the enemies in the zero hour mission are 690 so unless you can get 2 peolle to carry you through the whole thing anyone who doesn't have forsaken won't be high enough power. Tbh I just think this nonsense that zero hour was paid for by whisper skin sales is dumb. What about all the forsaken and annual pass money? Where did that go? It certainly didn't go to maintenance lol. Just shows what PR can do 😊
