So basicly your mad because you think if you buy something for x amount of dollars, even 3 years later if someone wants that same thing, they should also pay x amount.... Ya, you must be angry alot.

  • No one here is talking about a depreciating online asset (not that D2 counts as one, but for the sake of metaphor), this game is a 'game-as-service' and as such, requires regular service updates, which include updates to fix issues in PvP in a timely manner, especially if they want customers to stick around and buy their Silver. :P It's just bad business practice, bad customer service, and I'm not sure why anyone is surprised when so many people are upset: any other online service that failed to fix major bugs, exploits, etc. on their service which was adversely impacting their customers, would get a total hiding in public for it, eg. ISPs, cable service, cell service, etc. Yet the same people who would complain about those services being really crap, suddenly have some kind of strange protectiveness towards a corporation that has thus far entirely failed to live up to their obligations as a game service provider. Note that the money-making concerns in the game got a major upgrade: look how pretty EverPurse looks now! Buy more Silver!... while countless things in PvE and PvP go unfixed. It really shows what Bungie really care about, and it's not their game, it's not their players/customers, it's all about the microtransactions, built upon a game that has been designed around loot box gambling mechanics and pressing people's Pavlovian need for completion and competition, to manipulate people into paying for a virtual currency that is specifically designed to mask exactly how much in real life currency you are spending, since it's never a 1:1 ratio with the amount you paid. If you're not upset, you haven't been paying attention to what's been going on in the entire gaming industry: hypercapitalism reaches even into the virtual world. https://www.seeker.com/how-video-games-trick-you-into-spending-money-2030209020.html https://www.larshaendler.com/2019/04/04/warframe-destiny-and-anthem-are-built-around-addiction/ [quote]So basicly your mad because you think if you buy something for x amount of dollars, even 3 years later if someone wants that same thing, they should also pay x amount.... • You missed the point. The point is we payed money for the game part of that game is the PvP experience. The fact that was neglected for over a year is a as the op said a nice big fu. Just because the game is going free to play shouldn't mean that one aspect if the game is neglected. Especially when you have quests and pinnacle weapons that are directly tied to pvp.

Nope not at all. What they are doing for crucible sounds good to me. I just hope they have some good maps to go with it. For the free to play aspect. I think it's a good thing. I hope it gets more players involved in the game. The fact I have bought the game, the dlc's the passes, and they haven't. I don't care. Good deal for them.
