Jetpack height limit?
It seems the jetpack has a set limit of how high it can go based on where you took of from, which is understandable when you have limited fuel,
But when you put UNLIMITED AA, Even though the jet pack can fly forever it still hits the set height. i have some i deas for custom games that might require flying up nonstop that this physics kinda block.

The limit is based on your distance from the surface you jumped off from, but it resets when you disengage the jetpack and begin to freefall. So if you reach your vertical limit, fall and thrust again you can use this trick to keep ascending in custom games with unlimited armor ability energy.

main reason for this is to prevent players from going to places where "they should not be" although I know personally that if you go from one ledge and jetpack up you only go say 30feet but you can jump from ground level and go say 60 feet in the same area. My thoughts on this are some sort of Gravity factor we cannot manipulate, gravity is pushing against us so that we can't just fly to the moon.

Jetpack falls under "Equipment Usage". You have to set the equipment usage to unlimited, but still that's what the OP is talking about. Even if you have this enabled, the Jetpack has a limit.

It is due to the fact that the jet pack's strength fades out over time, leveling off at a point that is producing just a little less force than gravity. All you have to do is change the gravity settings, and you can go as high as you want. [Edited on 10.06.2010 9:28 AM PDT]

As soon as you reach the max height with the jet-pack, very quickly release RB and then press it again to go higher.

I've been noticing a height limit. I sometime I still a couple seconds of jet-pack left and I can't go any higher. Really hurts when playing on sword base.

With unlimited jetpack AA can you get to the top of the spire, from the bottom?

Another failure of the Custom Games/ Forge in this dire game.

If you let go of the button and wait for the sound to end you can go up again. It takes a lot longer than it being unlimited but it works.
