I thought it would be interesting to try and introduce a new Auto Rifle archetype in the form of the Aggressive Frame (not to be confused with High Impact), with an interesting pinnacle perk.
Imagine an AR with:
28 Impact ( very slightly lower than a Precision Frame at 29)
25 Handling (slow)
35 Range ( Low, may need to be lower)
30 Stability ( Low)
80 Reload ( Fast)
800 RPM (Faster than Rapid Fire frames at 720)
80 Aim Assist (Strong)
65 Recoil Direct (Mostly upward, but mediocre)
25 Round Magazine
Perk 1: Tap the Trigger
Perk 2: When "Tap the Trigger" is active, this weapon gains a massive boost to range and damage. Think of a cross of Opening Shot and the damage bonus of High Impact reserves but within Tap the Triggers window, and you'll have a pretty good idea how this functions.
At a base level, this archetype is meant to be a close range monster that hits like a truck, with poor handling, recoil and mag size to offset this strength. The pinnacle perk, however, allows it to break it's normal confines and contest at far greater ranges, but only if you show trigger discipline and sacrifice your Max rate of fire. This gives the player 2 very flexible range options without the need to swap weapons or kill/damage targets.
I don't know what call it, but I thought it could look and sound like a classic D1 rifle, maybe like the Cydonia-Ar1.
