What should I do with my current armor? Scrap it before October?

keep the sets you actually use; scrap everything else. Hold onto the mods; still usable on old armor; they did say old mods can be broken down into mod components to be used to buy new mods for 2.0 from banshee. I'd wait and see one of the prelaunch patch notes if it says if the value of a dismantled mod will be more/less/same as current dismantle values.

Well you will have zero armor 2.0 mods when shadowkeep comes and probably won't have many enhanced mods for quite some time. I'd save enhanced armor perk pieces at least for a while.

I already deleted everything it’s hard deleting guns I never used but still may want to.

they wont depreciate and will still be usuable on old armor. I'd say wait until prelaunch patch notes and see if they say the value of a dismantled mod will be more/less/or same after Shadowkeep launches.

You can if you'd like or you can keep them and continue to use them, they wont depreciate like Y1 mods did

Edited by 6 speed: 8/14/2019 7:41:09 PMI would say if you have multiple sets keep your favorite for now as they said any new legendary drops or planatary vendors would be 2.0. I'm pretty much gonna delete all the excess armor I have now for mats and just keep my favorite.

Even raid armor? I feel like I should keep those kinds of things

yup, as soon as i get home all my vaulted rolls, and even some of my gear on character are gonna get nuked for parts now that its been confirmed

if you have god rolls you can keep it and continue to use. Everything else seems worth scrapping to pay for the new stuff

You can continue to use it even past shadowkeep but obviously it would be better to get a 2.0 set, may as well continue to use it for now, after shadowkeep you'll most likely be upgrading
