You made Destiny nearly perfect in year 3 post Rise of Iron and, for some ridiculous reason, decided to start Destiny 2 from scratch rather than improving upon the already incredible system that was working sooooo goood. Look at where we are now. A Destiny 2 trying to be a wannabe Destiny 1. Imagine how far along we could have been if you people didn't start over. In year 3 post Rise of Iron there was loot to chase, activities to do and fun to be had for casuals, hardcores and everyone in between. What happened?
