So while it was his personal opinion, it also was the opinion of 22k other people.

That’s not scientific at all. That is the equivalent of saying, “Of the people who go to White Castle everyday 80% say it’s their favorite burger place. Therefore 80% of people who eat burgers prefer WC.”
