Nerf Erentil already
Every insta-kill weapon has a high risk, high reward factor. Expect for Erentil which cuts outs the risk factor by being able to map you from 30m out.
This isn't news. That gun has been broken for some time now
All I'm asking for is a skill mechanic to put to be placed on the weapon. Something which all you guardians who think they more skill than me wouldn't mind.
Like chaperone, 1 of the best shotguns. It maps but you gotta aim for the head.

I fight people using Erentil all the time. I die sometimes, and sometimes I don't. I'd rather get mapped by someone using an Erentil tbh. It's a change of pace after spending a whole year getting Dust Rock shoved in my face. At least with Erentil you actually have to aim to get those "cross map" shots and if you cant outplay a person charging a slow fusion from "30m" away, that's on you.

Try the tribute hall, it’ll show you the distance 30m is in the game, it isn’t far at all. Saying it maps you at 30m in game distance is like saying 12 inches is too far to jump. The only fusion that can map kill you is a Jotun. The only other weapons are rockets, linear and regular snipers. Not saying I don’t find it frustrating to die to fusions, erentil doesn’t map, 30m isn’t far, I’ve checked it out in the tribute hall and tested the erentil there among other fun for range and damage falloff. Its just super easy to get a stable roll with great perks with that gun compared to other fusions since it comes from banshee. It’s just the maps have a lot of tight short hallways and spaces that focuses on shotgun and fusion rifle play. You got to hang back lire them out and get to jumping as you hear it spin up. They can’t accurately hit you with a fusion if they have to pan hard. Unless that’s all they use then maybe. I don’t use fusions in PvP and they’re fine as they are. Play to the weaknesses of the gun and players. It’s many the maps that make them better than they seem. Stick to the long hallways where it’s 100m plus, there are a lot of spots. Trick and bait them into wasting ammo. But if you want to keep rushing in and dying, that’s not their fault. Next it’ll be nerf shotties cause I can’t melee someone without getting one shorted.

Being able to one shot at a distance is a feature also shared by snipers, do those not require skill?

3 RepliesBetter nerf one eye mask and shotguns that is a no risk taking. Fusions have a charge time and can flinch in a 1v1 of course if you are shooting from behind any gun is broken.

It's one thing if you're against all 1hk weapons But complaining about fusions not taking skill when shotguns require even less skill is pretty silly

5 RepliesLol you don't know fusions, 30m is small numbers and well within their range of play. No high risk, sure for a proficient but the same can be said for shotguns to include your favorite. I can name off many fusions that are the likes of Erentil, and no I'm talking Mythoclast or Pocket. Thesan FR4, Saladin's Vigil, Main Ingredient( OG ), and my personal favorite The Vacancy. You know what all these have in common with Erentil, its pretty simple because a PvP fusion is worthless if it isn't. A four bolt kill, nerf the only archetype of fusions that can and the balance of special weapons would be -blam!-ed.

6 RepliesErentil is only good because it excels at shutting down people rushing with a shotgun. If you learn not to run straight at them you will be fine. Even sliding while running will be enough to make them miss the entire pulse. The problem isn't the fusion rifle it's that you don't have any mobility skills and shotgun tape in a straight line.

The gun isn't broken. Its showing you a weakness in your game, that you' stubbornly refuse to address. Which is why nerfing it won't fix your problem.

I don't think I any weapon should be nerfed. There will always be good guns out there and people will always try to nerf them. Of course I get frustrated when I get one shot by shoulder charge or Jottun. You scrubs out there don't realize there is a counter to everything. Use the last word on people with close range weapons. a lot of people don't realize that scout rifles can better than most guns at long range because of the crazy nerf on scout rifles. Stop asking for a nerf, it only makes the game worse.
