Gambit bugged = banned?
I keep getting logged into Gambit (Titan map) and nobody is in there. So far I've been temp banned twice because after a while I get kicked out for being idled. Any idea what is going on? Thank you

1 ReplyActually just had this happen to me as well, and got a disconnection warning. I was in a full lobby, with a couple of guys just screwing around, and a bunch of afkers. People were trying to leave, and then come back only to get stuck in this perpetual limbo. Is this happening to more people? This can't be a connection issue

Bungie is shitting the bed as usual post-update. I just got kicked to orbit by doing something as drastic as going into my menu while flying in. Tried to start another game - this time we make it to the derelict, but when it's time to transmat, nothing happens and I'm eventually kicked to the title screen and can't even reconnect. As usual, I run a packet check and everything comes back 100%, also as usual. Expect Bungie and the regular #help losers to tell you it's your network though.

1 ReplyHi Dagget, I do not have an answer, but was looking for one for the same problem. I have not been banned yet, but I just got kicked out of gambit when there was 3 bots, the motes vault was locked and there were no enemies or any way I could jump into the opposing team. The roster showed 8 players. No one was invading, and the score total was locked at about 99 percent on both teams. There was nothing I could do except run around. After I was kicked out, I was warned, I wish I knew who to complain to. I have seen similar problems in gambit prime and vanguard strikes. It seems as if someone is trying to turn clients sour about the game, and it does spoil it. I enjoy playing this game and hate seeing it spoiled.

1 ReplyI just had a similar issue. Me and 3 others spawned into Gambit Titan map as well that looked as though it had been in progress yet there was not a single enemy to be found anywhere on the entire map. Score was 75 blue and 63 red but no prime, no enemies, just a dead map.

Exact same thing. It's like the match broke and the timer, enemies, invasion portals, etc. no longer exist. There's one guy who looks like his model is freaking out, the kind of freakout you would normally see on someone who is lagging in the extreme. I can't believe that, one, you can get right back into the same match you just left, and two, that you can get TEMP BANNED for leaving that match. Gambit already sucks pretty hard as it is but at least it's playable (usually)

Attempt to enter Gambit, get sent to Titan in a "complete" match, leave, get a "you left an incomplete match" error, banned after this happened 4 times today. Honestly not sure what can be done about it since we generally just get radio silence from Bungie. On another note, it did seem like the others in that room were bots from their movements, so I wonder if that was some sort of GM jail. Not sure why I'd be sent there, but it really seems like one.

i went into a gambit match where no enemies spawned, the active area kept swapping round, some folk left. i stayed and eventually the primevil spawned , we toasted it and it said there was a draw, then went to sudden death. where we again toasted the prime, but then it told us we lost.

Try playing on another server, while solving your problem.

most likely a connection problem; if possible record that footage and send it to bungie; @ least this way you have some evidence in your favour if you get a more harsh ban than the temporary lockout.
