Increase duration of Winter's Guile Warlord's sigil

I believe 8 secs is better the 3-4 secs that makes the exotic for me in most situations

  • I know, 4 seconds is too low. I'd have either a melee speed buff along with it or a timer increase. The only bad part about WG is the timer. I got it up to 4 stacks and it two tapped the lost sector boss on kingship dock with full health, shileds and everything. It is insanely powerful but the timer makes it a struggle to keep up the stacks. I don't want the damage nerfed because that's one of the great things about it, rewarded for punching trash mobs, but the timer is way to low. At least if our melee attack speed was buffed it would be easier. Increasing the timer would make it one of the best exotics in the game imo because of how strong it is. It's pretty much the only thing we have for punching things though. I'm a devourlock who loves to punch (especially with devour proc) so two tapping bosses is very appealing to me but it is a struggle to keep it up with such a low timer. It isn't impossible but a timer increase even by a few seconds would be beneficial.

    It's very niche but that's because of how insanely powerful it is. If you want to [i]double[/i] the length of its duration you will without a doubt incur a damage nerf for it.

    • or just nerf 1-2 punch for pve. Its better than trench barrel before any nerfs. I hate to say but it's gamebreaking for certain subclasses and exotics ( liars handshake, synthoceps, wormgod, and winterguiles )

        • vbnm987 You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

            • The timer shoild be increased to 15 imo. Also upon getting a kill you get 25% health back. Similar to Combination Blow to Way of the Warrior for arcstrider.

                • A while ago I made a decently long post about buffing these exotics, giving reasons why they should be buffed as well as multiple ways they could be buffed. It got pretty popular but in the end was completely ignored by bungie. So I say don’t worry about bad exotics and don’t waste your time trying to get them buffed like I did. Bungie couldn’t care less about the mediocre exotics, and I doubt they’ll change.

                  Fix both! WARLORDS SIGIL: Increase first kill timer to 4secs, each kill afterwards grants an additional second up-to a max of 6 secs. WORMGOD CARRESS: Increase first kill timer to 4secs, each kill afterwards grants an additional second up-to a max of 6secs.
