Edited by NeoReaper82: 10/23/2019 6:05:17 AMHunters require the least amount of skill to use AKA casual friendly Hunters: 5,818 Titans: 4,134 Warlocks: 4,127 So nerf Warlocks?

11 RepliesThe only crutch hunters can use is a OHK weapon. They don't have a OHK melee like Titans, grenade like Warlocks, barricade to give a near perfect defense for Countdown and Control, grenade that heals, they aren't a crutch nor do they get any crutch abilities. You want crutches? Shotguns, fusion rifles, shoulder charge, OEM, handheld supernova, getaway artist, riskrunner (if you can keep the buff active), bottom tree striker, pre-nerf Luna/ NF, tractor cannon (in mayhem), truth, wardcliff, peregrine greaves (if the damage buff is enough to severely injure or OHK supers), these are crutches. A class with inferior grenades, melee, super damage reduction, less speed (I have 9-10 mobility, people outrun me because of a jump ability even with Stompees and traction with a mobility mod bringing it up to +11), shorter super durations, and fewer panic supers. That is not a crutch. You're either a really bad troll or an idiot for saying hunters are a crutch because they make up over half the player base.

7 RepliesNah I disagree entirely with this dumbass assumption people keep making. The easiest setup in the game without a doubt is bottom tree striker Titan with OEM. Nothing even comes close to such an easy setup honestly. I played crucible for an entire day on my Titan with that setup and almost every game I played was a 4.0+, and I playing casually.
-
2 RepliesHunters are underpowered since they have the most deaths.
-
1 ReplyIf you can't outplay someone using the same strategy three times in a row you need help.
-
5 RepliesThe amount of hunters killed in crucible is higher because hunters are the most played class in destiny. Just using the class doesn’t equal instant crutch
-
8 Replieshunters are easiest to kill but also the supers for the class are total shit in pvp comparatively to Warlock AND Titan
-
My titans and warlocks just barely pushed 6,000 and my hunters almost at 12,000

1 ReplyWhat other conclusion? Maybe that Hunters are just the most popular? There will never be some perfect three way split. There will always be a popular choice even if you take it down to choosing between nothing more than the looks or even the names of classes.
-
2 RepliesSo it's settled then. Hunters die more than any other class and Warlocks are by far the best and hardest to kill. Makes sense.
-
1 ReplyLols, hunters are just a popular archetype. Titans are absolute crutch bullshit. They shit on hunters with they're broken super and stupid OEM.
-
4 RepliesExcept foh and dawnblade are top two classes in pvp. Ez mode kills. Nothing close.
-
3 RepliesThank you for your support in showing the community that the hunter class is easy mode and requires no skill to get kills as they only rely on abilities to get kills.
-
1 ReplyThat hunters die more often?
-
2 RepliesWhat is your favorite loadout?
-
My OEM bottomtree striker strongly disagrees

LoL Walks down trail, hears buzzing from the bushes, Finds hornets nest, Kicks Hornets Nest, Flips off hornets before dousing them w/ gasoline! Burn Hunters Burn!
-
The other classes are boring to play. Floaty ass Titans and warlocks? No thanks. I'd rather play fast and fun.

"If you are a casual and do not play in the competitive playlist at atleast 3000 glory, you have no idea what i'm talking about and simpily don't understand." Please take this personally. Thank you!

4 RepliesWhat is crutch about them 😂 Tether?

13 RepliesHunters aren't really a crutch. What is a crutch, is OHK abilities, and using something that is legitimately broken like Bottom Tree Striker. The reason why people play hunters more is simple: It feels better. The jumps are more responsive for one, having that control in PvP allows people to do so much with the 3rd axis as far as gameplay goes. It's why you see so many hunters jumping around in the air. Hunters also have dodge, which is a great utility tool- far more than Rift or Barricade for PvP. Hunters by default feel better to play as for the neutral game on most sub classes. Most hunter sub classes revolve around the neutral game. Blade Barrage is an example that no one played it for the neutral game- rather the ability to shut down a super, like a Striker slam, or a Nova bomb. And hunters still run it, for the shut down usage. Or... panic super usage... like Striker Slam, and Nova Bomb. Look at all the supers for Hunter... every super is built around neutral play in PvP, outside of Blade Barrage. This is why Hunters are used a lot... they just feel good, they have more control. And if you're a skilled player, you can pull off some whacky stuff in PvP. An issue Hunters have... is buffs vs nerfs. You nerf hunters... you make them useless. You buff them, you give skilled players an improved tool on top of what they already can do. Hunters for the longest time in Destiny's history... sucked ass on a lot of fronts. But... because of the skilled players playing solely for the neutral game... they made it work. And when hunters got buffs... that made skilled players threatening, and they stomped crucible. Example: Back in D2 vanilla... Wormhusk. Hunters never had good recovery like Titans and Warlocks. So when good players got Wormhusk... it became a threat because good players had to make use with so little... and when they get something good, it becomes godly. Balancing hunters is a weird dance that Bungie has to play... you nerf them to hard, no one will play them anymore. You buff them to much, the gods will stomp all the harder and make everyone miserable. - A Warlock Main

So, I play mostly hunter. But today I decided to make an experiment: went to my Titan, used oem with enhanced hand cannon targeting, austringer with rangefinder and eye of the storm, recluse, truth and bottom tree striker. Let me tell you something, if there is a crutch it is the build I just described. I found easy mode pvp.

13 RepliesEdited by SlingshotNerd: 8/11/2019 1:47:52 PMMaybe it’s because most people prefer the hunter’s play style? Whenever hunters were nerfed badly, did they switch mains? No they didn’t. When Nova warp got demolished did Warlocks switch to Hunters? No they didn’t. When Titans got OEM and striker buff did Hunters switch to Titan mains??? Again, No they did not. Hunters have an agile play style with their high mobility, dodge, and jumps which is perfect for evading enemies, confusion, and chasing down players. Just because you cannot be bothered to see past your biases doesn’t make Hunters a crutch, on the contrary it just makes you sound like you need to [REDACTED] :D -Warlock Main since Destiny 1 vanilla

How is this news? Hunters have been the "HURR DURRR" class since D1...it hasn't changed, and as long as bungie keeps buffing them for no reason, it never will change.
-
That proves how easy hunters are to kill compared to titans and warlocks.
