Look, if you haven't tried the 5 dollar biggie bag, I highly recommend it. A burger, drink, fries, and nuggets. Can't -blam!-ing be beat. Anyway, the problem, the -blam!-ing [i]problem[/i] with solstice [b][i][u]IS[/u][/i][/b] [b][i][u]IS[/u][/i][/b] .... the shit we're grinding for isn't really that appealing. like.. at all. [spoiler]Imo.[/spoiler] The only reason I'm slogging through this armor grind is for the triumph and a free set of 2.0 armor. If those two things weren't the case, I wouldn't even bother. The armor, at least, from a titan standpoint, doesn't even look that good. The glows don't really help that much either, to be honest. I don't know what it is with bungie and [i]insisting[/i] that they make titans built like the letter T. Did the vanguard implement a rule where all Titans can only do upper body workouts and skip leg day? That's what the solstice armor looks like. And what makes the grind even more of a bore is the objectives. BORING AND TEDIOUS. It feels like one big chore list for a lack luster reward. That's what is turning players off. Doing this worthless grind on ALL THREE CHARACTERS(I COULDN'T EVEN IMAGINE, I SWEAR TO GOD I'D GO CRAZY) GETS YOU SPARROW THAT YOU PROBABLY HAD IN D1. YES. THE GRAND REWARD IS AN ACTUAL COPY AND PASTED SPARROW. NO EXOTIC EMOTE. NO EXOTIC GHOST, ORNAMENT, SHADER, EMBLEM, CLASS ITEM, NONE OF THAT. A -blam!-ING SPARROW THAT IS EQUIPPED ON MY D1 TITAN RIGHT NOW. I've consumed my meal. I am satisfied and full. I wish the solstice grind was a lot like the meal I just had. You open the bag, see all the goodies, start eating away and enjoying every bite, and at the end, you get the great reward of feeling nice and content. A pleasing experience from start to finish. But no. It's a raisin cookie that we bit into and we expected it to be chocolate chip. Some of us are choosing to finish it despite being let down. Some of us are spitting it out and throwing it away. kill me edit: ok, for the ones who are confusing the biggie bag for the 4 for 4; listen, foolish [i]mortal[/i]. The 4 for 4 gives you a burger that comes from the dollar menu, the biggie bag gives you a double stack, a burger that is a bit meatier. That's where the extra dollar goes to, hence why it is 5 dollars. And I can't recommend that bad boy enough. Excellent choice for a lunch break.
