Random clan invites. Because I play A chick guardian?
Like so many play of the Destiny franchise.
I play on a girl avatar. Because the guy ones look weird and all have monkey butts for faces.
So I've gotten a few random clan invites.
Hit their clan page for info and to ask administration about the clan and such. No response.
Are they just trying to fill ranks?
Did they check me stats?
Just like my gamer tag?
Why am I asking dead space such things?
Because who reads these and actually have an answer?

1 ReplyI get a lot of clan and fireteam invites. I don't know if it actually has anything to do with what gender of guardian that you are using though. My hunter is a male character, I get most of my invites while playing that character. I get most of the invites in the tower. I think some players just spam everyone in the tower at times. I get a few clan invites and fireteam invites after Crucible matches or matchmade strikes, but I couldn't tell you why. While I am not a terrible player, I am certainly not Sherpa/MLG/Pro/TopTier material. People may just be looking to populate a new clan (or an old one that has lost most of its members), or maybe new players looking for people to play with. Clan invites get deleted pretty much immediately. Fireteam invites do too, for the most part. Tried doing the random social thing a couple of times in D1 by accepting fireteam invites. Not doing that again. Just not my thing.

I get those every now and then myself. I'm only part of a clan because my kid wanted to join one after I left my old one. I just ignore them like everything else.

My username was H0Tlava300. I used to get so many invites and txt it was crazy. Had to keep telling people I just liked using female characters because it was different (if that makes sense idk).

2 RepliesIf i were you id troll the absolute hell out of them. I only have male avatars cause all mine carried over from D1, never felt like remaking a character even though i could if i wanted to by just power leveling but there so much to do now id rather piss glass I constantly get fire team invites (which i ignore) but ive never gotten a random clan invite ( but i would ignore those too) But if they are doing it out of the fact you run a girl avatar, troll the piss outa them.
