Shaders like in D1

Who other than me agree that the old shaders system was better?

  • I think they should use both methods, a slot that gives the shader at all no-shadered armors, allowing to recolor the only piece that dont take that shader well

  • I liked in D1 how you could just equip or change shaders whenever and it didn’t cost materials of any kind and it applied to all armor pieces at once, and I kinda liked how you couldn’t put shaders on weapons. Not everyone would agree with that I’m sure but I liked it.

  • I don't even mess with shaders in this game. If I do, it's only to put on weapons. It's sad, too, because I loved the shader system in D1.

  • I like that we can now apply shaders to individual pieces. But I wished that shaders weren’t finite. I liked it when once you got a shader, it was yours.

    • 99% of shaders are ugly as -blam!-. The colors don't shade like they did in D1.

    • Just give me Weldfire. Nothing compares to that shader.

    • Hell no. That was extremely limited and boring. The new system is much more customizable.

    • I like both systems d1 had amazing color and effects like glowhoo but d2 has way more texture options like the gambit leather adding actual leather parts to guns or black armory shaders adding moving shaders

    • Overall, I prefer the new shader setup. Notably to be able to shade weapons, and mix and match shaders on your armor... cause sometimes there's one you like that makes a certain piece look ridiculous and other times you just want a different look. However If the best of the two were combined, that would be better. Notably, the freedom and options of D2 with the lack of material cost from D1.

    • Eh, the old system was good, but I like that now you can put Shaders on everything other than armor now. Honestly I’m just excited for the Shadowkeep economy changes so I can finally afford Eververse shaders 😄
