I don't know a lot about pc gaming or pcs as a whole. but all I know is this latest update for Destiny 2 took me from running around 70 to 80 fps to 20 to 30 fps with crazy lag like stutters in any zone I load into. please tell me there is a magic fix for this. also never had my CPU tap out on this game but now when I load it my CPU sits at 100% is d2 a CPU intensive game? GPU sits at 60% utilization.

It is CPU intensive but IDK if you should be hitting 100%. I'm running the game on an older laptop but its obvious after a lot of testing last night that its not a hardware issue. Any resolution or graphics settings I have the same problem: Stuttering regardless of framerate. I watch the Frame counter and it holds but the game is a slideshow at times. Maybe this issue came back with a recent update? Based on previous comments this issue was resolved, but the comments seem to be popping up again... Must be a tough bug if it took 1.5 years to fix, wouldn't be a stretch if a recent update broke it.
