After extensive test, I have discovered that the Ornaments purchased from Tess Everis provide weapons with optical improvements as well as Barrel extension subsequently increasing Range, Stability and Damage. Chaperone w/ Panama Ravine and SkyBurners Oath w/ Calus's Promise are notable examples of Range and Damage. Mida Multi Tool w/ Digital Ops improves stability and aim assist. These are just a few. Check it out! Paying for weapon improvements will further unbalance Crucible and increasingly alienate hobby players as Bungie trades Passion for Profits.

Chaperone without ornament at the edge of it's extremely steep range dropoff - 190 Chaperone with Panama Ravine at the exact same range - 192 This is a ONE PERCENT increase in range. Within the gun's range, it still does full damage. Outside, it still does nothing. All the ornament does is move the 1-2m damage dropoff window back about 12 pixels. In other words, this is a huge non-issue.

Stop pretending like you tested anything

Shotgun damage is RNG by rule of thumb. That goes for both pellets and slugs

After watching a YouTube video, I have discovered that the Ornaments purchased from Tess Everis make the guns and their sights look different because that's what an ornament does *wow* as well as making the barrel a teeny bit longer which helps because I need all the extra length I can get amirirte. Chaperone w/ Panama Ravine and SkyBurners Oath w/ Calus's Promise are notable examples of the kind of barrel extension I personally want (but it's too hard for me to understand that more range =/= more damage). I'm also totally throwing around random fake Mida facts because I know what I have isn't enough and I don't have a video to prove anything. These are just a few. Check it out! Paying for weapon ornaments will further do nothing to Crucible and increasingly alienate people who can't think for themselves as Bungie makes guns look different, which apparently breaks everything.
That editing demo is free for you. Next one is gonna cost some bread

Today, In things that matter to absolutely no one but this guy. I highly doubt this was even a thing anyone noticed. People assume that it is possible to test absolutely everything when it comes to coding. There are a lot of variables that throw everything off. Absolutely no point to stress about .2 meters. Someone who is good enough to hit you with a slug shot gun at the default is way too much for anyone who would worry about this so the .2 meters is a pointless worry. Not p2w.

I didn’t pay for them...yup still playing

Ager tests? Or watching fallout? Lol. It's such a miniscule difference though...honestly.
-
1 ReplyAlright let’s see video of it, cause I dont see 100% proof
-
Honestly, I kinda like how the ornaments to that. It just makes sense physically. And most of those ornaments are bought with bright dust. I wouldn't say it is pay to win/play.

I don't think it's intentional

2 RepliesEdited by RWBY'S WORKOUT (TIMELOST): 8/9/2019 4:53:44 PMDidn’t know .04% was such a big deal again It’s only for range this time of all things But you should seriously think for a second and consider how often you see skyburners or mida, I see a chap every 2/10 games and with or without the ornament a good chap player will put you in the dirt. Your choosing to use ornaments as a thing to complain about, you’ve literally scrapped the lowest of the low of the ship of complaints in the sea of salt.
now if this is just bait, it’s excellent!
That’s...interesting.

11 RepliesIt’s a bummer to see so many people deny that this is textbook P2W. It doesn’t have to give a massive advantage, just any advantage to its in game counterpart. This is why companies have been able to push the line constantly for the last 10 plus years with microtransactions. Full disclosure: I don’t have a solid opinion on if these ornaments were designed to give an advantage or if it was just a mistake on Bungie’s side. They have made a couple of mistakes in the life of the Destiny franchise so it’s tonight to say for sure this was on purpose P2W, but I bet they have sold more weapon skins as they are discovered to be better.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

5 RepliesProof please.

3 RepliesYou discovered? You tested? Yet you don’t show off any of these tests, instead leaving it to our imagination. On that point, the Chaperone ornament (Which will only ever be obtainable through Bright Dust considering its gone) gives a range boost so insignificant you will never even consciously notice its effects in actual gunfights.

3 RepliesSir, you forgot the “I’m a moron” tag. Add that in. Thanks
-
1 ReplyYou didn’t discover anything. This has been know. Congrats on watching a couple YouTube videos. Chaperone ornament isn’t a big deal.
-
It literally does nothing, its like an extra inch of range, the times when It would be noticeable are almost non existent.
-
You could at least link the YouTube videos you watched ffs.
-
5 RepliesA known issue and undergoing investigation.
