Mercy Rule in Gambit?

No mercy rule!

Mercy rule would be nice!

Gambit is not fun to me. Why? Because if you get one or two bad teammates, good luck with winning. Which would be ok (losses happen), except you still have to play the entire painfully long round, and either sweat your butt off (and still lose) or pointlessly wander waiting for the game to be over, just wishing you didn't have to... (this is #1 reason I see people go AFK) In Crucible, when the other team is clearly going to win, a mercy rule goes into effect so you don't have to suffer so much. I think Gambit would be a much more enjoyable experience if it had some kind of mercy rule as well. I know that you can sometimes pull back a win in Gambit/Prime even if the other team has their Primeval and you have no motes... but I can't be the only one wondering what the freak these blueberries are thinking when they run past the bank with 14 motes, straight into a mob, and die!!! Really not trying to make a complaint post as much as I'm trying to express my thoughts on why I dislike Gambit so much, in the hopes that maybe it will get better! SO! What do you guys think? Some kind of mercy rule or no?

  • Gambit is only there for the bounties, powerful gear, triumphs, etc. If you're a solo player, you aren't playing to win. Sure it happens sometimes, but you're just in there to get some specific things done.

I've come back when down 3v4. We get that 4th player back and win the last two rounds. If we cant come back, i just work on triumphs, quests and bounties. No need to cut the time short.

The most fun is when your (random) team is absolutely terrible facing a 4-stack that has a 5.0 KD player invading. They have their primeval half-dead, you have 25 motes in the bank and the guy is still portal spamming with Truth or Hammerhead. Mercy rule would be nice sometimes.
