Don’t remove Well of Radiance! Just remove the weapon buff and nerf Lunafactions. You’d be left with a powerful healing aura. There is no reason to completely remove the Super and replace it with Self-Rez (even I want it back, just as an exotic though). The fact that lunafactions give the Well instant reload, is breaking boss fights in every way possible! I suggest that the first perk on them be turned into: your rifts (not Well) gain the additional ability to automatically refill ability energy for you and allies that pass through it. Ward of Dawn: this thing has been a joke since it’s release in D2. Remember the video of Zavala actually holding Ward of Dawn as the Tower collapses? If you don’t here’s a Link: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6f7eAutgmx4 . Why isn’t it like this, sacrifice your own functionality for the safety of others? This change is simple; hold (guard) to create a protective dome around you and your allies. Helm of Saint-14 is not supposed to be required for Blessing of light, it should just extend it! Give Ward of Dawn both Armor and Blessing of Light, with the added ability for allies to shoot out of it without having to reload. We don’t need it to have Weapons of Light back. We have many other ways of buffing our weapons damage output, we should utilize them more.

  • The Well of Radiance is one of the most generous utility supers in all of Destiny. I'm trying to give complexity and actual risk to these buffs with Ward of Dawn. I never considered Ward of Dawn getting the Lunafaction treatment. Nerfing the Well has been spiraling around my thoughts and if you nerf it at a certain point.....then what's the point, it's now a healing rift and the community will never accept it. That's why Sunsinger was my answer, the tradeoff, keep the perks from the middle tree but change the super. Warlocks have so many ways of support, they don't need a super for it.
Why isn’t it like this, sacrifice your own functionality for the safety of others?
The Void middle tree of the Titans do have this, but it's seriously underused and sometimes too tempting to treat it like a normal Sentinal Shield (even with the weapons of light). Which Void middle tree can only protect what's in front and protection doesen't mean anything if enemies flank around it. I just want Ward of Dawn to be an idea in raids and many other endgame activities. It's clear that nobody likes this to be an idea rather have Ward of Dawn to be buff in a way to literally have the bubble to kill opposing enemies instead be used as a defensive utility. Appreciate the feedback though, even if it is disagreements.

I Personally enjoy that Warlocks finally have a way to support the entire fire team. I don’t want to see the healing factor go away or the super for that matter! Ward of Dawn would be necessary in higher end activities, because the Well can only keep up with so much. I hope you watched how Zavala uses WoD...that cutscene was one of the best in D2! Titans already have rally barricades, replacing the need for Warlocks to have that perk on Lunafactions. I like how the Banner Shield has Weapons of Light, now Ward of Dawn no longer needs it. I disagree with the fact that Banner Shield stops the user from taking advantage of their own Super. You should be able to place Banner Shield in the ground! It is extremely necessary for allies to be able to shoot out of Ward of Dawn, if they can’t, Ward of Dawn will never find its place in a raid, the reckoning or even heroic menagerie. But it has to come at a cost, so that it doesn’t break Gambit. Just think if a Titan invades; places your version of Ward of Dawn on the bank, and now has increased weapon damage! This can’t ever happen!
