Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble with Destiny 2 not recognizing the port forwarding that I set up on my router. In fact, it seems to check the port number and then move on if I have that port labeled as forwarded. For example, Bungie's self-help connection page says to use UDP for 3074 and 3097 ports. When I do that, then check the settings on Destiny 2, the NAT type still stays on Moderate. And the ports move on to the next number past 3097. So if my 3097 port is forwarded, Destiny 2 moves to port 3098, then 3099, etc. It can tell that I've set that port aside to be used for a specific PC, but it somehow doesn't recognize that it's installed and being played on that same PC.
I'm about to rip my hair out over this because of the lag I'm having when playing multiplayer. The link at the bottom shows some of Bungie's suggestions for fixing the issue. None of that really helps as my game just doesn't play well with the port forwarding.

Try setting up PPPoE that should change your NAT type.
