Gambit - AFK players (Easy soltion Bungie, please implement it in the future)
The sheer volume of AFK players in Gambit and Gambit Prime is ridiculous now.
There is an easy solution to stopping this in an activity that is TEAM orientated.
Simply add a must WIN the game condition to the requirement, then a player cannot just sit at the spawn point to collect their "credit for playing" leaving their team mates screwed and or playing the match a man or two in some cases down.
If they have to WIN to get that credit guess what Bungie, the player now has an incentive to actually play and try to help their team or they get nothing.
I may be in the minority but I like Gambit and it pisses me off to trying to play to win and seeing some jack ass sitting at the spawn point doing nothing or just shooting the wall to get credit for playing.
Fix it Bungie, its not hard.

Wins in this game, outside of a full fireteam, are essentially rng as one person cannot carry a team. So wins isn't the solution. A middle ground should be found, something like get a few kills and complete the match. Then bots would be useless.

No, they shouldnt require wins. They should require say 300 kinetic kills (it will take someone who hates Gambit 10 matches to get 300 kills) but not count any kills if the match isnt completed. Just requiring 10 completions though is Bungies unspoken gentleman's agreement with the community. It goes something like: "we require the matches, you play them, you complain about it, but you'll be back to play tomorrow, next week, next month, next year. Got it? Good! Now go play those Gambit matches!"

The way I look at it some people have jobs and lives out of destiny so they’ll afk for progress. Is it scummy yes but some people want to be caught up in the game without sacrificing things like work or gym. If Bungie didn’t make it 10 matches and instead 5 people would actually play that because it’s not overdoing it.
