remove or tone down all wallhacks abilities

I have complained about one eyed mask in the past but I guess I need to be less specific. People think I am biased towards hunters, but I am not. I play all 3 classes as equally as I can just using whatever I find fun. People just talk about OEM more than spectral, but I actually find them both equally overpowered. An ability that gives you real time locations of your enemy through walls should not exist passively in a fast paced arena shooter like Destiny, and if it does it should be a super ability such as vision pulse from black ops 3 or widowmaker’s ult from overwatch. Seeing your opponent’s every move through a wall completely eliminates the element of surprise and unpredictability in a gunfight which is half of what pvp in this game, and any game, is; doing what your opponent doesn’t expect you to do and winning the engagement. ALL abilities that allow you to track opponents through walls should not be in the game period. Namely spectral blades and oem. Spectral blades with a sniper is basically destiny 2 recruit difficulty, you crouch in a lane and get one headshot and suddenly you see everyone through walls AND are invisible for 10 straight seconds. OEM is also easy mode; one person shoots you, you see them through walls and if you position properly it is a free kill. Then you get an overshield that gives you 300 health to utterly delete the next person you encounter. Both of these abilities need to not be in the game the way they are now. No, the solution is not to just give an overpowered wallhacks ability to warlocks. All these abilities do is shrink the skillgap even lower than it already is. My suggestion is to make flawless execution give a single pulse of wallhacks rather than just real time highlights of the enemy for 10 seconds straight. The invis can stay for PvE’s sake and just because the perk shouldn’t be nerfed into oblivion. For one eyed mask, a similar solution. When a player shoots the oem user the tracker should stay when in vision, but when they go behind cover it should be a pulse similar to spectral. Once per second or two for the eight seconds that the player is marked, a pulse should go out that shows a marker of where they are at that moment, which goes away shortly after. The regen upon killing the marked player can stay but the overshield I believe should be reduced to 50 rather than a hundred. Someone with an OEM shield should not be able to just tank a shotgun shot or two extra hand cannon bullets.

        • The only wall hacks that are really strong is the invader in gambit. Spectral is a super that has a time limit. OEM requires a kill to proc and also is limited time. All wall hacks isn't really a problem. I would rather they take away the overshield from OEM to be honest.

                    Wallhax needs to be on all classes. Sanguine Alchemy for example, should have wallhax. Foetracer and Eye of Another World should be the OEM for their classes. Helm of Saint-14 should have wallhax inside Ward of Dawn. Workhusk and Crest of Alpha Lupi should trigger health regen. Wings of Sacred Dawn, when using Phoenix Dive should automatically cast rift if available. Casting rift this way grants class ability energy.

                      I'm convinced that Bungie purposely gave Xur that god roll One-Eyed Mask recently because they're soon to nerf/remove it come Shadowkeep(and possibly other common forms of wallhacks). I feel as though they tried too hard to overcompensate for how weak players felt in the first year of D2 by making a lot of the stronger Year 2(or Year 5 as some say) Exotics and abilities; and those combinations.

                        • Shut up. Wall hacks for flawless execution actually requires skill, instead of just getting shot at. Oem isn't op because of the same keen scout marker hunters get from foetracer or from the skill tree, OEM is op because of the overshield and increased damage. Hunters have already been made weak enough. GTFO with your "compromise" mentality when you don't seem to know what a compromise is. Those Hunter stealth abilities are actually what sort of make up for our seriously low resilience and weak melee/grenades.

                          • 1. You're forgetting Foetracer, Wishender, actual Spectral Blades, and arguably anything with a damage tick. 2. It's not as though these abilities have no counterplay. PvP is more than a series of surprise attacks. Information is power. It's like saying we should nerf Eye of Another World because it lets us see through invisibility and know if that Titan running straight at us has Fists of Havoc or is bluffing.

                          • It’s annoying for sure. Idk why they thought it was necessary to give people overshields+wallhacks+extra damage (as minimal as it may be). Anyone who says it is balanced is delusional.

                            • i wouldnt say do that, id think it be much easier to show an indicator, like when ever oem comes up whenever ur highlighted with truesight or whatever, id think it would be much easier if it said "hunted" or "stalked" to show that someone has that perk on
