Tribute Hall Doors won't Open
I never went to open the doors for the Tribute Hall but did have the banner to open the door before the update on the 30th. Finally went to go open it after getting a few tributes, and now I can't open it. I tried doing it on alts, tried to see if I can get the quest again. However, nothing worked. If anyone finds a solution will greatly appreciate it, but if not then I guess I'll have to wait till Bungie patches this bug.
EDIT: So after Shadowkeep released I went to the tribute hall with a friend who already had it unlocked. I went on an alternative character, as they somehow had the quest tribute banner in their pursuits. And I was able to place the banner down at the door, and open the tribute hall. I don't know if this will work for others, but worth a shot.

i have the same Problem completed the Quest but cannot Place the banner to open the doors. No sign to use something. Cannot abort the quest. My friends have no Problems. i have already 8 Boon for Calus quests. I have only one character on my account. Its frustrating

Alright so guys big update after shadowkeep lauch i was having this problem and i went on my hunter to see if she had the flag and/or i could pick the quest up a secant time and i found my hunter she did have anther flag on her but this time i could set the tribute down which means that anyone having this issue please check your other characters and see if you can open the tribute hall that way. i can now start to work towards bad juju.

11 RepliesLook if it were just a Glitch with the Bad Juju and that was it i'd be fine with it, Bungie would eventually fix it and i'd get the gun. But the Bad Juju is directly tied to the moments of triumph: MMXIX Seal and if they do not fix the issues before the end of the event I would not have had the opportunity to acquire the seal. This is really frustrating because even if they fix it before the event is concluded i will have to rush to get the Bad Juju. I've also seen nothing from bungie regarding this issues and i think that the community has come to some conclusion that anyone having this issue or (glitch) were apart of the group of people "cheesing" the Bad Juju quest which is not the case. If Bungie reads this can we possibly have an update on the progress of this issue and or some kind of closure in knowing that we won't have the opportunity to earn the MMXIX Title taken away from us? I am having this exact same issue and was not using any of the exploits. I am unable to pass the "Place the Tribute" step for the Invitation from the Emperor quest. I verified that I hadn't misplaced a boon at the Postmaster, and attempted to submit boons with my other files to see if that would work and it did not.

I’m in the same situation. There’s just no prompt to place the triumph. Hopefully Bungo sees all these posts and fixes it soon.

The first step here is getting Bungie to acknowledge that there is an issue for some players. I may have done some steps out of order (i.e. placing tributes with a character other than the one that opened the werner chest), but this should not prevent me from being able to progress the quest. Now, I cannot open the triubute hall door and I cannot progress the quest to get bad juju.
