So I've been gone from the game for a long time, but over the last month I have been getting much more into it again. I would really like to explore the Black Armory weapons, and would love to get my hands on Thorn, The Last Word, and other weapons and content that has been locked behind the annual pass up to this point. I would first like to say that I hate that I personally hate that any in game items (within a game I have already purchased) are locked behind a pay wall. Depending on how much of an edge these items might give a player in PVP, that could very easily be seen as a pay to win mechanic. However I am willing to attribute this type of game mechanic to Activision and their greed, and hope for the best moving forward with only bungie at the wheel. My question becomes, what happens to all the content currently locked behind the annual pass when Shadowkeep launches? I do not currently own the annual pass, and would prefer not to have to purchase it, especially when we are right at the end of the seasons it covered. However, I really don't want to be forever locked out of ever obtaining items like thorn and the last word if I abstain from purchasing the annual pass now, and then it is no longer purchasable once Shadowkeep launches. Does anyone know if any version of Shadowkeep available for purchase now, offers the items currently locked behind the annual pass? I would greatly appreciate any information that could clear up this matter for me.
