Upgrading the armor in this manner brings no value to the game and isn’t fun. It has nothing to do with past achievements and is just busy work. I want the armor and I’ll put the time in. I’m just letting you know that this isn’t fun. I would prefer a fun event, not this chore list of boredom. I suggest making the armor easy and painless to upgrade, and add some grind in order to earn some of the stuff locked behind Eververse. That way people who refuse to participate in microtransactions can earn some stuff, but you’ll still make money off the people who want to buy things to have them quickly. Also, I will take my time earning the armor set. Time doesn’t factor into any fun equation that I know of. 10 Gambit matches spread out over 10 days is still 10 Gambit matches more than I want to play. This event really is painful.
