Kill 100 Minibosses in EAZ.
Well that would be fine if I didn’t keep getting match made into almost completed matches. And they aren’t team kills. Now everyone is on their own. Great thinking guys! I have been in 4 matches now and only got 2 minibosses. Awesome!!!
Edit: thanks for the replies guys I had better luck matchmaking from the tower. Try that.
Edit 2: great feedback guys. Also, did you know you can use your sparrow?

Edit 3 Seems a shame that I load into people cheesing this now. Please help bump this. Maybe Bungie can address the concern here.

6 Replies100% teammate kills should count. this is a team game where you match up with a fireteam only to compete against each other. eaz chests count team wide so i dont see why minibosses cant

2 RepliesYou’re getting put into almost complete matches to replace the players that left after they got the mini boss kills they needed. This quest step is one in a long line of counterintuitive requirements that promotes selfish and destructive gameplay. Blame Bungie’s lazy design team for this BS.

1 ReplySNIPERFARR You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Edited by jack_zedd: 8/3/2019 10:38:54 PMI stoped going solo and made a Fireteam using this app searching for 2 other people just to farm the minibosses. Tried to do it solo but could not match into a new game. Everytime I'd match with players on the final boss stage.

Guys just lfg for a full team then share the miniboss kills. My team got around 5-8 each game each making sure we got a shot in the miniboss before we killed it. Then we'd all go back to orbit skip killing the major boss and load back in

This may sound crazy, but create a pre-made fireteams. That way, you can all co-ordinate the kills AND begin each run fresh. The more you know! Saves the crying and salt.

1 ReplyI hate to do this, but there is a Cheese.----And you don't have to screw up every other player who is trying to do the normal by going in, and just damaging or getting the kill hit on other players in process of trying to kill a miniboss alone, and then leaving them for the boss phase. It involves the Cabal. And seems to only be the Cabal, specifically during the actual boss phase. When you figure out what you can do during that time, and get your kills of minibosses during that phase, and farm it with your team. You don't have to waste time going to orbit and loading up again just to do miniboss phases ad nauseum and waste more time in loading screens, you can finish that 100 minibosses in about 1 hour and 45 or 2 hours...of actual play time vs loading screen plus additional issues of running around the map(or sparrowing). Totally recommend fireteam for this, as well, don't be a dick to others doing their normal runs/bounties.

4 RepliesMy technique after realizing cooping was useless. Spawn in, sparrow to first middle one. Hit it a few times, then move behind him inside the building or to the right behind the fence, another one will be waiting, hit it a few times, then jump up to the roof and jump to the next building, then one will be hiding behind in the far corner on those levitating rocks. This should take you no more than 3min for 4 to 5 mini bosses. Then leave the game for another match, rinse repeat as end game bosses/minibosses do not count towards progression.

3 RepliesI did it last night and it was a pain but honestly wasn't too bad. It's these 1500 orbs that's being a pain right now. I'm almost done with all the other requirements (only have bounties, void grenade kills, and 1500 orbs left) and I'm at about 800.

3 RepliesIf it was shared like i feel it was supposed to be it wouldn't as bad but the way it is it is best to just use the cheese and 3 people. I already hate it cause I had to do it so many times just for one character and I was wanting to do at least one more character. So far I have spent every bit of every night this week grinding only this stuff on one character and I am not even to the legendary set yet. I am almost there but I can only take so much and do so much each night. I would much rather play a game for fun and get things as to grind and grind and grind and grind for every little thing.

Same thing happens to me, spawns me when the team is fighting the best. But the team is just one sad lonely soul, I feel like they need to fix this by making it where if you leave the game early then you don’t get credit maybe that could help this match making
