I agree with you. 100%. Back before Forsaken Bungie said they wanted Destiny to be an hobby. Problem is they have no clue what a definition of an hobby is. An hobby is something you do for pleasure, relaxing and fun in some of your free time therefore can't be anything that: - puts pressure on you to be done on a time frame or be lost forever; - makes repetition the core of the activity; - creates anxiety and burn out; - demands an huge amount of time every day/week; Those aspects don't belong in the definition of an hobby, they are the definition of a second job. Destiny has all of them in spades and this Solstice event is the evident, undisputed proof of that. Destiny became a second job, only suitable for those that have little or zero responsibilities of family, job, house work, etc. It's great for streamers, YouTubers and for those without a full family and/or still living with parents. Everyone else is f***** to some degree because it's impossible to have time to enjoy the whole game.
