Patrols take 30 seconds. Sometimes a whole minute. You can't spare a half hour? Especially considering you can multitask with them and complete bounties and public events?

Doesn’t further any purpose or story in the game whatsoever. When’s the last time you said hey man, let’s go knock out some patrols?

I think you have the wrong type of game. The series is going on six years and you expect every event to further the story and have meaningful grind? It's a looter shooter. You can skip the grind entirely and be at no disadvantage come shadow keep. Seriously, there are bigger things to complain about.

The same reason you asked me why I need to know. It's a public forum for discussion. I don't understand his point of view, so I asked him to elaborate. The forums are filled with people complaining like destiny is a job they're forced to do without any reward. I don't understand why people play if they don't enjoy it. Especially on non mandatory events like solstice.
