🤦♂️ you could get it for free last year through the Solstice Engram You know, that little thing that DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE.
-
And with bright dust. Y'know, that thing you SPENT ALL ON BAD JUJU. YOUR. FAULT.
-
60% discount. Do tell, why did Bungie choose Bright Dust? I’d love to hear the perfect answer as to why a currency used at the micro transaction store is suddenly so important to Calus. And I got my glows out of the engrams, which again, don’t exist anymore. You seem to be ignoring that. That it was free. 0 Bright Dust for those.
-
Edited by Nihilus247: 8/1/2019 7:37:03 PMYou do know Calus isn't real? Don't you??
-
You’re right, he’s a fictional character created by Bungie. So Bungie is the one working the strings, right? If Bright Dust, in the storyline of Destiny, has absolutely NOTHING to do with Calus, what motivation would Bungie have for making something Calus sells cost Bright Dust except to bleed players dry of the currency as much as they can? Tribute Hall didn’t go after worthless shit like Baryon Bough. It was the valuable currency. Targeted.

Today's headline: Screwed customer complains when greedy company behaves like a greedy company. EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!
-
No shit. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
-
Oh the irony...you're whole comment thread is obvious.
-
Right. Eververse was bearable up until this moment in time. The previous six seasons supplied an engram that allowed for unlocking of most everything in the game so long as you played enough. Now the engrams are gone, everything is direct purchase for a high price, and a couple of stupid little statues cost the cosmetic currency. That’s why the post comes now. Almost 2 years without any significant issue, but now this? I mean the XP throttling and Revelry engram “bug” was hella annoying, but this is almost unplayable. Just going to get worse with Shadowkeep. Still don’t understand why you keep repeating the same obvious statement.
-
I'm kinda f$ckin with you. I agree with you about Eververse. Unfortunately, Bungie is a company thats very existence relies on making money. How it makes that money is their choice. Our choice is whether we engage with their practices or not. If a person engages with them and then complains but continues to engage then it is a hollow complaint which doesn't deserve merit. Bungie is not a utility company and their service is not an indispensible commodity whereby the cornered customer has no choice but to engage. If you don't like the company or their practices then disengage. They provide a piece of entertainment, nothing more.
REEEEEE
Yeah, I just think it’s super sucky how things have been alright up until now and suddenly the shit’s hitting the fan. Can’t really blame Activision anymore either.
-
Assuming you got lucky
-
I did. What’s your point. He wanted to talk about how I shouldn’t have spent my Dust on them last year, and I didn’t.
-
Only 5 of the 50. You only needed 45. You’re the one that pushed to 50 because of the emote.
-
Good. You did it right then. They did say they were reworking bright dust my dude. Where it would matter a bit. it was a wasted resource before. I'm gonna hold my judgement til shadow keep. And not throw a fit on in game currency.
-
Edited by Doctor_Roidberg: 8/1/2019 1:06:31 PMThere had better be major adjustments. I won’t be preordering Shadowkeep because of this and the stupidity that was Tribute Hall. I’ll decide once it’s out.
-
Wait wait. You’re thinking of not pre ordering cause of some armor glow that cost bright dust or silver? Right when I saw the glow moves boom $25 gone on armor glows. Worth.
-
Oh Lord. Y'all are too sensitive too all this.
-
Sensitive? I have an issue with Bungie trying to pull a fast one on me with how much I’ve dedicated to this game. Call me crazy, sure. But these changes aren’t going to work.
-
Yes. Sensitive. It's not full them yet until shadowkeep. It's not going to screw up my gameplay. I'm not hindered on anything. Cosmetics aren't going to harm me. And I have bad juju and catalyst outbreak. It's fine. So we'll see.
-
Just to add some fire to this argument some weapon ornaments give your gun extra range based off the barrel length so when does cosmetic become a necessity I ask you
-
I'm not putting laconic on last word. Laconic looks terrible on last word. It's a fat gun. And uh...i mean...I don't have any problems with it so...?
-
Well for some us hardcore players it does make difference in game
-
Dude I'm pretty hardcore too. It's not gonna change it up too much. Though it's very neat. I saw the vid too.
