It’s at the point I would much rather spend $24 for the glows than 15k bright dust. As bright dust is literally more difficult to get than actual money

Of course, I have enough to get them but spending that much is bothersome. I’m saving so I can buy new ships and ghosts and stuff when they come out, since my luck with the bright engrams is terrible and my only way of getting new items is through buying them myself. Not to mention how much I’ve already spent just for a catalyst for a gun that isn’t even that great

That's the thing. You don't have to buy it all. This is the exact same cost as last year I don't understand why people are freaking out. Y'all spent all your dust. There's zero excuse here.

You’re missing the point, I have 26k bright dust, so trust me I have plenty to spare, but I know what they’re doing, and I would rather spend real money on the glows considering of all things I have the ability to spend my bright dust on, they seem to be the most wasteful and obsolete. If you have 2k or 50k, the amount is atrocious

Again, how does this differ from last year? Same cost. Biggest difference? Most people blew it all on bad juju And bad juju is wonderful. It's not a boss dps weapon but that's why I have a mini whisper for that. And swarm of the raven

I missed last years solstice so that’s why I don’t include that in my argument. Also sure bad juju is decent, but in a world where there is blast furnace and primary shotguns/snipers for pvp, and then mountaintop/recluse meta for pve, bad juju doesn’t have a place. Outbreak is better in pve, and there are much better alternatives that are legendary or pvp. It was only worth it for the completionist addiction, not for its actual use

Depends on your preference. I have outbreak with the catalyst and I love it for lore reasons. And it's a nasty boss/major weapon. Bad juju is strictly for adds. Pretty much like Ace generally. I don't like using blast furnace all the time and I do get my super back 3x as fast with bad juju. I'm a storm lock mostly so I use reach a ton. Its very known that outbreak is nasty. And it is best for the exact opposite reasons of bad juju. I'd rather use juju in add phases and outbreak in boss phases. That's me though.

Plus at the moment I don’t even use anything but mountaintop, that thing has a reserve in my kinetic slot for every pve activity

I like that about it too, but I play console so until I can even manage to switch weapons in less than 5 minutes I myself wouldn’t consider using it
