Quick question for anyone who knows but do we need this gear for Shadowkeep or can I skip it and come back when dlc drops?...I really don’t want to do it lol

If you obtain the legendary set, you’ll get a set of armor 2.0 when shadowkeep launches. You don’t need it but it will probably be pretty useful.

The question is, are the glows gonna work on the 2.0 armor for the whole year?

You will be. Doing the armor now just gives you a little boost in the future. You’ll be fine without it.
