He is a childish, arrogant, selfish person who only cares about himself.
Nerfing Well is not the answer. Nerfing anything in PvE is not the answer. Buff the bosses health or make better bosses. If datto doesn’t like one phasing then perhaps he should tell the Warlocks on his team to not use Well. Or just not allow Warlocks on his team period. He hates one phasing and yet he does it anyway because he can. BTW one phasing a boss that at first you normally couldn’t do is very satisfying. Perhaps datto and people like him have a very different definition of the word fun! He’s so contradictory and hypocritical! You didn’t see him calling for a Bubble nerf in D1. Seems like he’s always calling for Hunter and Warlock nerfs to suit his own desires.
Please just don’t nerf us anymore. You have ruined WotW, Skull, NW, and many other weapons and abilities. Let us be powerful. This seasonal meta change you are going for sucks. Just make everything viable so that we choose what we want based on our play style instead of just what is good that season. It’s your fault everyone plays with the same set up. We need more options. Design the game around the average gamer not the elitist trash like datto.
I am very close to quitting Destiny for good. Just FYI Bungie. If you keep catering to people like datto I’m out. I’ll give you one more season to see what happens.
I truly believe Destiny is in the sorry state it’s in because of people like datto. Ok rant over...for now.
Sorry for the anger it’s just I hate nerfs more than anything in games, and I know Bungie listens to datto so it makes me even angrier knowing his desires will come to pass.

Nope. Datto's video is almost 100% spot on. Nail on the head with every point. If you dont want a Well nerf, you are bringing down the game as a whole.

The bosses in this game are a joke. WoR is not even remotely needed.

If you think bosses are hard without WoR, I feel bad for whoever you are playing with. The only endgame activity in which WoR is nearly needed for is Heroic Menagerie.

All flawless runs. solos, two mans, every exotic, every end-game activity completed, literally everything in the game done. I think i know what im talking about buddy : ) There is also no REASON not to use well. Youre completely deluded if you dont think Well is OP and makes designing all future encounters completely infuritating because it will always be cheesed with Well. Infinite uptime, healing which negates all enemy prescene (unless you get unfairly one-shot) and a buff so good we kill new raid bosses in sub 2 seconds, even on day 1. D2 is way too easy, and well is 70% of the problem.

D2 was easy in year 1 as well my guy. I also have two mans, nearly 1,000 raid clears, and was former ranked as #23 on speedruns for both PC and console. So if you want to pull that card, I'm definitely more qualified than you on this topic. Encounters have basically been built around WoR. Is WoR overpowered? No. Bosses just suck and are a joke. If bosses had mechanics to them, then maybe this game would be a bit challenging. If bosses actually had mechanics and guns were toned down, then the game might have a challenge. D1 had the same capability for defeated bosses. Just stack a WoL, AoL, and MP with a final round shotgun and all bosses would be dead within 4 seconds.

Year 1 raids were easy because they were short and with the exception of SOS little mechanics. They couldn't be designed hard because there was literally no good gear in vanilla. Not like we have now. Now we one shot every new boss on day. It's just boring. It's not that I disagree with you really by the way, bosses are generally easy and don't have that many mechanics or attacks and I would love it if guns were tuned down a bit to preserve challenge.

944 with CPs and 650 or whatever full. Thank you for saying something sensible regarding the topic. Many things in this game are a joke. The only thing I can legitimately say has been hard as hell has been a flawless 3 man CoS. That's why I still don't have a flawless badge lol. At this point Bungie has built a community where all people want to do is melt bosses. But if Bungie created another fight like Oryx or Shuro Chi, people would have a fit. In my opinion Shuro Chi is one of the best raid bosses in D2. Even in the EAZ, me and my buddies were just spamming 1KV and were melting the bosses within 3 seconds. Or even a fight such as Insurrection Prime since you have to work as a team to get optimal damage. There just needs to be a bit more teamwork involved.

Yeah no im 100% with you on that. EAZ I don't really mind too much, I was expecting it to be easy since "everyone" is supposed to be able to complete it but as for other things, like dungeons or raids or the supposed "hard" variants of strikes or whatever else, its too easy definitely, we need more mechanics and more boss attacks (have you played the Broodlost boss in the EAZ, i think she actually has cool attacks) and more teamwork. for sure. Most bosses boil down to place luna well, tractor and empower, maybe add a striking hand if available and then left click to burst the boss in literal seconds. It's time for an overall nerf to our power but I do fear that the general community is too attatched to the power fantasy culture and one shotting things that any attempt to do so would be met with backlash. I mean remember the super-gen nerfs? They were so blatantly busted and yet people cried about the nerfs... until now where no one mentions them lmao.

As much as you dont like nerfs its actually quite healthy for the game. Just as much a buff. Now as you said if you buff the boss health then all it does is make it more tedious for those who are not using well. It may make it longer for those who use well but overall it has little impact. Pretty much every action has consequences. If all you do is buff then we won't get anywhere. Nerfs and buff coexist just as much as light and darkness or yin and yang

Exactly. More nerfs to fun items for PVE, is not the answer. The entire reason why people use these PVE crutches is playing against bullet sponge enemies who stomp you if you get close, is NOT FUN and every new dlc Bungie ups the bullet spongi-ness to grind for max rank. Thats the unspoken problem- the core damage/level mechanic in D2 is broken. VoG and the othe raids were much better because in D1 it was not.
