I mean, drive through the edz
A few pockets of low level enemies take a few shots, halfassedly as you zip by.
Nothing really disturbing your ride, even public events are just left to rot mostly.
You can plunge into the deepest tunnel, of which there aren't many, and never get hit with a single shot.
If the enemies were invading the EDZ, they must have got lost somewhere, because there is nothing out there.
Game worlds should tell their own story. Each planet a journey, and a battle, to understand everything that is happening, to formulate a strategy.
As you drive through these relatively empty spaces, compare it to most RPGs.
Enemies should be so numerous, that certain areas of the map are a real challenge to even approach.
Walker tanks should roam the map with a fallen escort, making every journey a risk, and reward.
NPC forts and towns should hold side stories, missions, and unique gear to obtain through your exploration.
Js.
If there was more to do on each planet, and a more immersive environment, this game would be unparalleled

I love what they did with AC: Odyssey: there's a ridiculous amount of open space, tons of towns with activity going on and always something to discover. Mykonos was probably my favorite place. If I remember right, it took me several minutes just to walk across Athens without stopping to see things. Something like that in this game would be great, but without the crime/ bounty hunter mechanic. It's effing annoying.

2 RepliesI'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that patrol spaces should have some more danger and life to them. Also fallen walkers with fallen escorts roaming around sounds sick af id love that

I absolutely agree Bungie should bring life to those patrol zones. Although I worry they may simply put enemies with a hell lot of health on it to increase difficulty, this will make people tired quickly. There must be some other ways...like...protecting civilians/refugees/resource collectors...defeating heroic public events can do something good for the community...I don't know...I feel we just lack purpose on those patrol zones once we are maxed out.

1 ReplyBicycle paths Been that way since D1. They claimed it to be open world but ive never got that feeling at all. Its nowhere close to an open world.
-
In my opinion, Mars and The Dreaming City have been the best destinations throughout the history of D1 and D2.
-
1 Replysomehow i really want to blame current gen hardware for that. even bungie said that if i remember.
-
They are target practice

They need to make bigger more dynamic events that feel rewarding on these worlds. Like a revamped flashpoint, but with more and harder enemies roaming. More things to do while roaming with an inventive, other than a blue, a rare legendary, or an almost impossible exotic drop maybe once a month if your luck.

2 RepliesAll planets on destiny are pretty much wastelands nothing to really see anywhere no civilizations not even local wildlife it’s like we’re fighting for rocks and sand nothing special
-
1 Replythat pike gang though, i straight up super them bisshes
-
8 RepliesI mean, we have kinda decimated most enemy races both in game and within Destiny’s lore
-
Ppl would cry that it's too difficult 😂
-
1 ReplyThey are tough areas as you level up. Now they are there to make us feel overpowering. I like the way the game is presented.
-
2 RepliesBut then ol' Casual Carl couldn't tweet and yell at his wife to get him another Bud Light while traversing the landscape!
-
I’d like them to open up more buildings and have the rooftops accessible as well. The EAZ has those things but I’d like to see stuff like that brought to the EDZ. It’d help the world feel a bit more real
-
1 ReplyI think you're confusing this for another game.
-
1 ReplyOriginal D1? Is that you?
-
It's bungie. Forget it.

They need to add space combat. Give ships a purpose other than being a loading screen, it's obvious they had the intention of doing it at some point. They could make it wave based with fighters, carriers and capital ships. Obliterate the enemies defenses, knock out the capital ships weapons and board it for a strike or raid. Add ship customisation, collect data modules on hive, fallen, Cabal and taken weapon systems then use it to craft new weapons for you ship. Just an idea....

1 ReplyI was going to say that you spend way too much time in pvp since you’re opinion on open world but the only problem with have at the moment is trying to get decent rewards for the time we spent there when you have so many ungrateful trying to ruin it for others open world is not a elitist zone it’s there to help out new players & other level up
-
I agree with that end statement a lot

1 Replyi want to play your game. everywhere i go all the adds on the map shoot at me and ignore all the other players.
-
2 RepliesWorst thing is, it’s not that much wasted space. I’d love to explore more of io, it’s one of my favorite looking planets along with titan, but I can’t because the area we’re allowed to be in is so tiny.

6 RepliesMan this game crashes at the slightest bit of struggle. You add ecen half of that and the game would go offline for months lol
