There’s triumphs with no score. For example, the ones that involve Shattered Throne. Doing it solo. Doing it Flawless. Flawless and solo. Doing it with all Riven’s curse mods. All triumphs. None give points. Why? The Crucible and Iron Banner medal triumphs don’t offer points. Again, why? There’s no way people will be able to tell you’ve done the vast majority of these why can’t they give you more triumph points?

1 ReplyIm surprised you didnt mention IRON BANNER triumphs in this
-
3 RepliesBecause people who aren't good enough to solo/flawless shattered throne will complain it's too hard and they're missing out on triumph points.
-
I just see it as something to flex about, but you can’t even rep triumphs so I guess do them if you’re bored and want something to go for?
-
1 ReplyMost triumphs are glitched cheesed or cheated anyway. That said triumph score is a good indicator of the lack of life, not skill level. Sorry to burst it for you.

2 RepliesProbably saving the points to sell in eververse

2 RepliesEdited by PkmnGymLeader: 7/31/2019 3:56:32 AMThere are some triumphs that don't give score because the one to get all of them does give score. I guess they want to put emphasis on completing the collection. With a select few, they don't give score because they wouldn't be there in the first place if they found out a way to make pinnacle quests account based earlier. I'm pretty sure the triumph labeled "In Pursuit of Honor" doesn't give score, but that one's only there for the Mountaintop Quest. (btw Bungie, make that easier) Edit: Also, some of them give other items. (emblems, emotes, etc.)

3 RepliesA lot don’t give points since they are either limited time or difficult which will lead to people crying on here that they are being “locked out” from getting triumph points. I personally don’t care about the score and enjoy completing triumphs but a lot of them give nothing which seems odd.
-
And on another point why include tributes to triumphs. Triumphs should be score ONLY
-
Event triumphs don’t have score.

7 RepliesWhat's purpose of Triumphs in general?
-
Never understood it myself....cuz Bungo I guess.
-
1 ReplyMost of the time they have Titles, Emblems, or Shaders locked behind them. Or they are novelty nonsense that are pretty much impossible to practically get. Lets be real there's like 10 people in the world who can actively get Shaxx's dumb "I made this for you" Medal/Triumph in a regular match. Everyone discovered it when they needed to boost for the Mountaintop Quest.

To teach you that some things in life simply aren’t worth doing.

3 RepliesWhat's the point of triumphs?
-
1 ReplyMaybe there just there, or maybe its bungie's way of tracking players that go the extra mile, it's just a theory though, it also could be someone just got lazy and didn't care Idk though.

4 Replieshave you forgotten that we live in the participation medal era?

Edited by k_naast-y: 7/31/2019 2:19:57 AMBring back Grimoire score

Better question, what’s the point of triumphs with score.
-
If I’m honest I only go for triumphs with score sod wasting my time for no triumph score
-
2 RepliesI have always wondered this myself.

5 RepliesThose often track medals obtained during matches. A convenient place to show them without another menu option for medals.
-
Illustrating how inept certain bungie decisions are?
-
I say it’s because they don’t want people that are late to the show to feel left out. Some sort of even playing field. There are even triumphs, specifically in the account section, that don’t show unless you’ve unlocked em (doing a Bungie bounty, for example) It’s sort of changing with the 2019 title, but not triumphs themselves (the iron burden triumph is still possible if you bought a bunch last season)

8 RepliesFor some of those you get emblems or shaders, but for the most part they are just there to be there, which is cool. All of them dont need scores. If the ones without scores bother you, just dont do them.

3 Repliesthese ones are simply for bragging rights thats it.
