It’s been nearly a YEAR. The ONLY thing that’s been changed about the subclass was the slight nerf to inertia override in pvp, for some reason. If nova Bomb can be allowed to have twice the damage and FOUR TIMES the blast radius, then why wait?
Nerf bottom tree striker I don’t care, I just want my baby Thunderboy to finally bring home a perfect report card of gold medals from crucible school.
How I think buffing it should go:
Increase boss damage to where it’s at least matched with nova bomb.
Increase super horizontal blast radius by 20% and vertical blast radius by 50%
Increase the VERTICAL blast radius of ballistic slam to where there is at least SOME damage instead of all damage negated by just jumping.
Please he just wants to fit in with the other kids but he keeps getting bullied by nova Bomb and he keeps getting influenced by bottom tree striker to do bad things like egging shaxx’s house and t-bagging the guardian who’s bottom fragging.
Edit: What is wrong with asking for a buff to an underwhelming subclass tree that hasn’t been buffed in anyway since it’s release, nearly 11 MONTHS ago? People are saying that titans are fine and they don’t need buffs, because they have shoulder charge, because they have OEM. You do realize if thundercrash was buffed, you wouldn’t see OEM and shoulder charge as much and synthoceps would see a lot more use?
Just my two cents.

46 RepliesThanks for the feedback! The team is aware of some requests around ability/super balancing for this subclass. Once we have more information, we'll let you know.
-
All supers, roaming or not, need a 30% armor reduction in PvP. Juggernaut Striker needs to return much less super in PvP and Mid Striker needs a fine scalpel for tuning.
-
1 ReplyOr, don't nerf bottom tree and instead buff middle tree instead of ruining yet another subclass and making ONLY middle tree be dominant
-
22 RepliesAll for buffing thundercrash but bottom tree striker is fine Yes it’s difficult to kill but so is spectral blades and nova warp BuT sPeCtRaL aNd NoVa GoT nErFeD yeah I don’t want to hear it ,they’re still as difficult to kill with bullets as spectra and nova post nerf so a nerf wouldn’t stop much
-
4 RepliesBuff it with an AC/DC track. Every time I kill with it I wanna hear Thunderstruck.
-
5 RepliesHave the small thunder crash one hit
-
11 RepliesNo. Nerfing and buffing thing simultaneously is what causes this kind of imbalance in the first place. Thundercrash is a very good super in pvp, it is just outclassed by roaming supers, as all other shutdown supers are. Nerf roaming supers in general to restore value to shutdown supers.
-
Thundercrash doesn't need a buff. Titans have the best supers without bottom-tree striker. Stop complaining.

Crash needs some love. However, nerfing one subclass, or tree, to buff another isn't exactly balance. And we've already seen the repercussions of weapons, armors, and classes getting nerfed because either people don't understand or comprehend tactics or counters or they only care about their own perspective while trying to hide behind, "Lots of people are complaining about how x does y."

6 Repliesburning maul needs love also

6 RepliesDon't nerf the 3rd skill tree to buff thundercrash. Just buff it without nerfing. So you can enjoy thunderboy thor jump and I can enjoy my fists of havoc.
-
No nerfing ma boy, bish. Gth.

Middle tree striker + dunemarchers..... Rush the enemy flag at the start of the match and ballistic slam. Watch as you instantly get 6 kills from one attack. It’s glorious.

15 RepliesBottom tree is fine

9 RepliesWhy bother? Then the whiny PvP b**ches will complain about that too. That's why we can't have nice things in this game.

1 ReplyThe blast radius on thundercrash is fine. It's the awful damage that makes its radius seem so much lower. It's the same case when using both strikers fist of havoc where a leaping top tree will be able to kill with its heavy attack at a little further distance than bottom tree that has a lower damage ceiling. It also doesn't need to be nova bomb strength, but at least deal like 240k to kali...which is like a 60% buff because of the possible faster super regen, but that perk itself shouldn't dictate it does no damage. Increase the damage of the aftershocks by like 50%. It only has the power to kill things like dregs and it's honestly worthless. It does less than a handcannon shot per shock and that's stupid. Remove the force fall or extend the duration the super can fly at top speed. It's absolutely ridiculous that this super has a forced flight mechanic that makes you fall straight down after a short time. Sure it keeps people from flying to certain places, but dawnblade can glitch out of the map so much better than thundercrash can. Give it some form of melee regen. Maybe sprinting increases the recharge rate, or hits with the melee give back a fixed percent, but this skill tree NEEDS to not rely on skullfort, because it cannot do anything without its melee, hence making the "faster regen" almost negligible. Inertia override should reload your weapon for simply moving over the ammo but still require a slide or landing on it with your charged melee to activate it. The buff is almost never worth the effort of setting it up and in pve you will pretty much never use it because sliding isn't useful in pve.
-
Also make it go farther and give it 3 or 4x damage resistance.
-
How bout make it where if you die 0.1 of a second after activating you don’t lose it.
-
Give thundercrash some damage resistance. I legit get shotgunned out of the air. I thought that was cool when that happened. Until I started doing that at the regular. The counter for this is to land near the target so the blast radius will kill him. Only it's easy to jump away and still kill me with how ridiculously long some shotgun ranges are.
-
For PvE an exotic would be nice. One where you get super energy back on kills.
-
1 ReplyNothing compares to a nova bomb. Read the lore. Geez
-
18 RepliesThe reason middle tree Striker’s super is weak is because it’s neutral game is so strong. Tipping that balance breaks things.

51 RepliesEdited by DarkRoast: 7/30/2019 5:30:04 PMNO, TITANS DON'T NEED ANY BUFFS. YOU HAVE A BROKEN ABILITY CALLED SHOULDER CHARGE YOU IMBECILE. Edit: You're not an imbecile, but some of the people commenting on this post definitely are. Edit 2: I’m done arguing with idiots. If you reply to this post, I won’t respond.

I’m still amazed people unironically defend bottom tree striker and pretend other supers are remotely comparable lmao.
