I’m less worried about my existing armour being obsolete than I am existing content not getting updated to drop new 2.0 armour.
D2 finally has a good range of content out there and if the armour is not updated to the new system then that will be a bummer.

Hadn't even thought of that, you're right though. Bungie has never updated old activities for the new armour. Again, if we were just given transmog for all existing gear it would still keep them somewhat useful.
