Out of all the heavy weapons they could have picked from, bungie chose the sword. Nobody so far I’ve seen, in the many amount of matches I’ve done, has been using a sword. I even popped out a sword just to try it out and it was unsuccessful due to everyone having range on me. I even tried to be sneaky and wait around corners crouched. I’d be torn down instantly by The Recluse or shotgun.
