Raid Challenges tied to clan?WTH?

Can you plz not tie raid challenges to clan? Ive joined plenty of clans and found out that they were'nt very active, or the people are just toxic.

        • 😂 I'm not laughing at you, but Bungie knows how to keep the blood flowing on this forum and they are really good at it. Got to give them props for that 😂 I mean, let's look at how many ways we can make things harder for the player base that anyone can make a HUGE list of unnecessary actions that have taken place. It's not that the RNG for certain achievements isn't ridiculous as it is.

        • Agreed, even though it doesnt impact me. There are already plenty of incentives to joining a relatively active clan (7 cores a week from Hawthorne, clan engrams...) locking the newer Raid Challenge bounties is overkill.

        • Raid challenges should go back to how they were in Destiny 1 Age of Triumph, where you could just do them at any time.

            There is a lot of stuff tied to clans that I think is absolutely garbage. I have played this game before clans where introduced & was able to easily get things within the game now it’s just ridiculous trying to get anything. Cause a lot of it requires a clan mate to be with you. :EDIT: Not only that but I’ve noticed that most people will refuse to play with people cause you’re in a different clan or wont join theirs. I’ve had this happen many times when playing with my friends and some of their friends. It’s like once my friend is gone they go back to the clan mates to help get things done. It’s like being in highschool again. Oh sorry we can’t join you or help you cause you aren’t part of our group.

          • I think the entire clan system is broken, it entices you to join a heavily populated clan for all the perks and rewards/triumphs. because a couple hundred members automatically do 1 weeks worth of activities and they are top level. The XP system needs be reworked so it demands more XP per player based on population and it forces clans to actuall do audits for active players

            • Clans are utility period. Sure you can make one with like 12 people who all play pretty consistently across multiple characters and get all the xp needed that way then bam done. But they lock the challenges behind clan level for a few weeks so people get used to the raid itself when it launches before dumping on challenges that anyone would feel compelled to do asap.

              Problem with clans is that you have clans in the clans. I understand what clans want to be. but everything is done with 6 and 3 man activities and doesnt need an extensive roster to achieve activities or exclusive space to find help.

            • Raid challenges are not tied to clan, you just need to be in a clan to grab the bounty.
