Why is there no Solstice event engram?
I'm already having a hard enough time getting the dust to buy the things I want from your decision to not include a proper seasonal engram. Now you're only going to compound that issue with Solstice.
You say every item is going to be able to be bought for bright dust, but almost if not all did make the round through Tess's rotation in previous events, so that can't be it. Is it really just you softly pushing us to buy more of that mistake called Silver?

12 RepliesThis is simple. People hate loot box style micro-transactions. Some games have been so bad it has gotten the attention from a couple of governments. One has already placed a ban, and legislation is pending in others. So bungie, as well as other developers are looking to change their micro-transaction system. A direct buy system is of course the easiest way to do it. I am sure most companies will have some way you can earn things from them in game. However since somewhat of the rng is going away, there would be a system that would increase the cost of the in game economy to aquire them. While most of us don't like microtransactions, I doubt they will be going away anytime soon.
