It's an exploit and until game companies find a cure it's going to happen a lot and in many more games than just D2. If Bungie wants to fix it than they need to study videos of matches in which people commit spawn-genocide and listen to the feedback people give about Crucible. Personally, I think we need larger maps, and a safe zone in which enemy players can't enter or harm you or your allies. Basically it would do the out of bounds thing if you wandered into their spawn and rapidly drain your health. Look at Smite for example, it's Arena mode has a safe spawn location in which enemy players can not enter and if they get too close they die very quickly. I've been on the receiving end of the spawn-genocide myself, it sucks, it's frustrating but I just keep playing, I pull myself up by my boot-straps and find a new lobby and eventually get done what ever it is I'm in Crucible for. I've also however taken advantage of exploitable spawn locations myself, with a Jotun I can spawn-lock people for quite some time assuming they have special ammo weapons. And in modes like Iron Banner if you keep flipping the spawn at tactical moments you can royally screw over the enemy team. This is a serious issue that should be addressed along with a lot of other problems with Crucible. Perhaps one of the only things they could do is give PvP players an Expansion that mainly focuses on rebalancing Crucible whilst also providing dedicated severs and a large number of new maps that are larger and more wide open with fewer corners.

This^^^ Spawn campers are the worst. Happening because the system can't determine where to put you is one thing, but campers need to just plain burn.

Think the worst for that is midtown, with control atleast, because one of the spawns has a good line of sight for snipers and what not. Lol

I just came back a few weeks ago and the pvp is just as crap as always. Ill be surprised if they ever actually approve anything.
