2 RepliesThanks to this crappy event and cash grab, I have binge watched many tv series/anime and working on my steam backlog while afk at a forge. I recommend anyone do the same and not reward bungo for this crap, with your time and money.

Sorry but there is no way I am grinding that armour out on even one character. Now, if it had been a case of equipping it and ANY activities upgraded it I would have been up for that .. but fifteen specific steps for each set which require you to tick all the Bungie sanctioned activity boxes ?? .. Jog right on Bungie. You have smelt your own farts to the point that you no longer haven a clue about the fact that people play games for fun, let me say that again .. for fun. This game is no longer fun for me, its a place where you have to play what you're told when you're told to even have a chance at progression. Power Level doesn't matter because it scales with you and even if you get to max level it all goes up in a few months. Powerful Rewards and Prime Engrams have a tendency to drop in slots with the highest powered gear. Every week its the same activities for the same rewards. On every character its the same. And its dull. This shows through in Shadowkeep, going back to a place we have been before to kill the enemies we have already killed is the best Bungie could come up with. Guess it took to much effort to flesh that storyline of Uldren being alive right ?? I no longer feel valued as a player. I feel like a hamster on a broken wheel to be milked for cash. And I am pretty much done after a) seeing the grind for this armour and b) getting a blue and 5 planetary materials from each of my first TWO Solstice Package that apparently contains "Untold Treasures". Still, plenty more good games out there. -

4 RepliesSo I'm not good at forums lol... I'm a solo player. I have full majestic armor. Two pieces masterworked. Can you only masterwork upgrade the set items during Solstice of Heroes? Or can I keep working on it afterwards? For instance the Solstice Chestplate requires a Shattered Throne completion with 1-2 players...but Shattered Throne is not up this week (last week of Solstice of Heroes)

Bungie you know we don't get no where near enough of solstice packages to spend all the keys were getting .. everything in the games gives only one thing gives packages .. you could at least let us spend the keys on packages or something before the event is over ... Make them cost like 50 keys per package ... I just opened all my packages and I'm still sitting over 1000 keys and im done with all 3 characters.. there is no incentive to grind the eaz ..

You guys love getting players into PvP but it’s more broken than any other PvP game out there. Crucible is unstable, Gambit sucks, and now this event where you claim it’s a celebration when NOBODY is happy. Congrats...you guys don’t know what you’re doing.

That's a lot of super kills even if you get 5 a game that's still 40 games of crucible 😱 this is way too much why aren't they weapon kills like the titan and hunter ?

1 ReplyThe grind is way too much. I am behind the idea of working towards something, but this is insane. I suffer from Narcolepsy type 1, and Destiny is the only game I really play. I struggle with watching movies, TV, listening to music etc. without falling asleep. Instead I play video games to relax and Destiny can generally keep me entertained enough to not fall asleep, until now. I have felt a hard struggle to keep from having perpetual sleep attacks while working on solstice gear. To me that is a clear telltale sign that the event is a mindless grind and not entertaining. I am usually on the Bungie side of the fence with things because it is hands down my favorite game to play and it is still a great game. But this time I cant stand by and say this is a fun event.

This company lost its way a long time ago ... playing this game feels like running errands. Zero imagination or entertainment.... just a chore; a checklist.

1 ReplyDo you guys even test what you put out any more... apparently not... you mean to tell me no one there thought maybe this is a bit too much maybe eaz is kind of trash climb a building get knocked back off it.... die on one corner of map get spawned complete opposite of map.... maybe these bosses are bullet sponges.. maybe key frags dropping to much... maybe ammo isn't dropping enough... maybe 100 mini boses just a few to many

You guys really need to back off on the needlessly massive grind to fulfill small objectives. I hate that you guys have taken the grind aspect of this game to this absurd level. You’ve over shot the runway yet again. It’s incredibly boring and time consuming. We’re grinding for 3 weeks straight for decent looking armor and then have to purchase the glows. Followed by more grinding to have a less than 1% chance on getting the perk rolls we want on that armor, all while depending on this game’s broken RNG system. You guys have to stop this non sense.

I am finding the grind unappealing. I hope everyone is having fun, but for me, the armour does not seem worth the effort. And yes, part of that is MY FAULT for sucking so hard at PvP and not having any friends to do Nightfalls with. Happy Gaming!
