Darn, I'm now seriously considering playing other games until maybe Destiny 3, I've invested a lot of play time making my armor builds just right and now they are all going to be, well I wouldn't say useless but certainly obsolete. I thought the team would of made a way to allow us to "upgrade" year 2 gear into armor 2.0 with resources and a little bit of work but I guess you want us to re-grind all of it again. Bummer, but I suppose it's good to know now instead of later.

1 ReplySolstice looks great this year - well worth grinding the gear set and the ornaments look cool. Only concern of mine is one that many have already expressed - the lack of a Solstice Engram. Was that totally neccessary? I play a lot so my bright dust reserves are plentiful, but I dont think is a very good direction to take.

I've been waiting all year for this and I REALLY want to do ALL of it. Could Bungie ever rescind the ban for the event and re-apply it after? Edit: I was banned for unstable connection.

3 RepliesI appreciate the changes you made with regards to past feedback. Having this armor carry over to 2.0 makes it worth pursuing. Its also nice the sandbox shenanigans won't effect comp or gambit prime. Definitely excited for the EDZ area! I know some people are upset that there is no free additional ever verse engram. I can live without it, the event itself actually has worthwhile in game rewards and a stand alone activity. I won't be upset that I won't get all the crazy cosmetics for free. Although it would be nice if one of the items pictured was a random free bee to us for playing the event. :)

2 RepliesThe armor looks excellent. I like how you took the glow effect to another level. Reminds me of chroma which I used to love to play with. I’m also glad they won’t be obsolete a few weeks later. I’m curious out the Eververse items though. The tribute hall, even with a hefty discount is going to eat up a bunch of dust. Is the bad juju catalyst a timed event that goes away when shadowkeep comes out? If so then the dust will need to go there first making my stock pretty skimpy to afford Eververse stuff that is also time gated.

At least let us earn the engram only or something like that. Other then that I can’t wait to play it Edit: I don’t mean that they made us use our bright dust but I’m sure we can all agree earning bright dust with the bounties give us too little for the new eververse system. Why all the downvotes? What you don't like having more bright dust or having us earn the new vanity items outside of silver or bright dust?

Stop focusing on future events and focus on the issues in the game right now and actually respond and react to our feedback. Give the players what they want instead of what YOU want!! You keep asking us for feedback, you pass it on to the team, then no more is mentioned of it. I've spent around $600 on the franchise, every dlc or anal pass, every preorder plus silver and merchandise. I won't be making any more purchases in this franchise. This will make no difference to anyone, but if a dedicated player like me feels this way, I'm sure there are more like me.

Hey. Maybe during solstice of hero’s, you can buff sword drop rate from heroic menegerie. Thing is way too hard to grind different rolls and the drop rate from killing the boss is just abysmal.
